the last i checked pets safari has no stock on gerbils.

Pets family is next to ming tian. Do note that if you buy gerbils from seperate places, they might fight when you introduce them to each other, so be careful.

Coz toby pet sold gerbils really underage... not fully weaned. Also not healthy.

Anyway, Wizardboy, I suggest you get hold of a male first. If can, get a red eyed male. Or try and find a full pied female red eyed or not also nevermind.

Getting a male first would be easier... coz when intro new female, well, less fighting. Females like older males hahaaha...

Sometimes getting a red eye is a good advantage... if go for black eyed, you won't know got Pp or not... If got Pp, then it is better for breeding coz it means the black eye gerb is carrying the red eye gene.. so pups produced got chance of getting red eyed.

But if you favour black eyed but want nicer colours... go find a DEH and breed it with a Black or Nutmeg.

It seems like more and more people are starting to breed these cute fellas. Good for you

erm...is it hard to rare a gerbil cause i abit scare rare them due to working time might not so much can take care them much, i did wanted to rare b4 but end up my decision is not going to make them go heaven more fast =X, anyway i do like animal except exotics type lol.
