Looking for my 1st ultrawide.. Light gaming on xbox s. Daily will use for work and movie. To be pair with lenovo p27h-10 (1440p wide 27 inch). Mostly will work on 1 monitor only (ultrawide will be main 1). But sometime need both when doing testing or as tv while working. What I considered now

1. Xiaomi ultrawide 34
- No HDR?
- No PD
? Picture quality

2. Philips 346B1C
+ PD (1 cable n can charge my laptop)
+ KVM (share with desktop for kid usage/gaming - but not really important)
+ Ethernet
- Seems bulky, old design
? Picture quality

3. PRISM+ X340
+ HDR
? Picture quality
? New brand - no sure reliability

Budget up to 2k. Dunno whether HDR will bring more pop when netflixing, good picture quality is something I look for..

I am using the PRISM+ X340 PRO. I choose this because warranty 3 year and in case really need warranty, the most they sent to SG compare to Xiaomi need to send to China. If you think this is new brand and not sure about reliability, how sure are you about Xiaomi monitor? In fact, prism+ founded since 2015 so it has around 6 year of doing monitor.(not saying xiaomi is bad, but if you are like me concern about warranty, maybe can try consider prism+)

I just bought the X340 PRO, so far so good, no dead pixel, I did not adjust much on the setting yet, but I feel the color abit over saturated for me. So far I just use for trading purpose so color not yet an issue but it only been 2 week after I received the monitor so cant commend much as I haven use it for other purposed. The monitor also got built in crosshair in case you want it for FPS gaming.

the curve are not really that noticeable for me. If I look at the monitor yeah, I could see the curve, but when I try to focus on the screen, its not that noticeable. Curve is not for gaming only, I believe the purpose of curve is to help you comfortably look at the wide/ultrawide monitor. As for the view, previously I was using dual monitor setup at 1080P, so my trading screen need to be on window mode and drag across two monitor, but now I can just open it on X340 PRO alone because of the ultrawide 1440P, so no complaint here.

PRIMS+ brand no actual shop and no review much. It is like gambling buying this brand.

I suggest don’t go for this brand as their advertisement always something not sincere.

For example recent advertisement they dare to put that 34” model cost RM 4,999.00 and now discount and you can get at RM 1,699.00

That spec impossible cost RM 5k and no company will ever do such 66% discount. Hilarious! If do is means that product something wrong.

This is just example, all their advertisement got fishy content inside. I don’t trust this kind of brand.

I mentioned a few post back that Dell is doing exactly the same "insincere" pricing. lol.

Other than that, you're right about getting monitors for brands like Xiaomi and Prism unless don't care about support and warranty.

At least Dell do sell with actual price before and the price Dell put is much match with the spec of the monitor.

Basically very hard to get Ultrawide monitor with webcam or common wide monitor with webcam.
Why don't just separate buy the webcam. It is so easier to attached on top of the monitor.

As for sound wise, suggest get a proper speaker. Monitor and TV normally came with crap speaker.

I do found some:

Philips 3461CRH Ultrawide
https://www.anandtech.com/show/15606/philip...ernet-kvm-dcip3

HP ENVY 34 Ultrawide
https://www.amazon.com/HP-34-Curved-Display...y/dp/B06WVD5NFG

Philips Brilliance 49 Super Ultrawide
https://sea.pcmag.com/philips-brilliance-49...illiance-499p9h

Good or not? Not sure.
Selling in Malaysia or not, no idea.

tring to become an ultrawider myself, but am torn on either the Acer XV340CKP (flat IPS panel) or the Gigabyte G34WQC (curved VA panel).
These 2 were shortlisted primarily since they have speakers, which I do require sometimes (dont like having separate speakers, too much wire clutter).

Any sifu have experience on these panels?

Using Acer XV340CKP for a year, only for work, browsing, and youtube. It's just enough for my usage and the only option within my budget at the time of purchase. But because its so wide I need to turn my head to focus on the contents at the side, I think the curve screen could have helped with this
