Is that 34". I thought for that size, 1080p is not advisable

Received my Asus PG348Q yesterday, god the monitor is so heavy. I setup for my kids my old Dell 24" but my wife and kids already start arguing why the hell they get the puny monitor instead of the big one haha

I just place my order of PG348Q. Been considering this monitor for few months until suddenly got this merdeka sale for just RM4,699.

Just a heads up when you assemble the stand later. The neck guard can be removed for you to put in the screws. Its not shown on the manual. Got me confuse and I thought it was a manufacturing error before I noticed the guard can be remove.

Eh but all 3 of them are for 27" monitor. I probably going to stay with the Asus stock stand though.

I had been doing research some time ago, these are on my shopping bookmark.

Actually not near, it's the monitor looks huge thus gave that impression. My X34A actually are further away compare to 23" monitor or laptop.
*
Haha yes I also tested on Doom, so nice weh. But then again I jumped from 23" 1080p Dell monitor, anything would look nicer on ultrawide now haha. Eh where can I get 4k movie source online? Netflix? If not just PM me, want to see the difference

Eh odd, they announced the monitor few months back, same with Asus. It was in June if not mistaken. Also not mention in that article was that these monitors also have quantum dot technology

Shame though bout the delay, my original plan was to get either this or the Asus model cause they have all the bells and whistles of current tech, minus the 4k, but cannot wait lah that long

Same pricing right now while having sale. Only aesthetic difference as far as i concern. I prefer the Asus stand than the Predator is my only reason to pick it now the price is similar hahaha.

just that currently already have 4k monitor
lol
another problem is volta
not yet confirm when release
heard no so fast > <

Got 4k monitor just stay with it for now lah, no point changing and its not a cheap change of hardware anyway. For some of here including myself, we ascended from 23" 1080p monitor, so the jump in advancement is worth the price

Dont think there is a 27' 1440p ultrawide, usually it is 34' 1440p  or 29'/34' for 1080p.
Usually the korean brand ultrawide are pretty cheap.
Anyway mind sharing where to get pg348q for a good price? cheers!

I think the Asus merdeka sale is still going on for rm4699 at most shop, the rest is up to your nego skill to get lower biggrin.gif

damn i cannot imagine now also 4699, the new monitor with 200hz wht is the price ?
*
Hahaha that one on discounted price, RRP is 6299 so the 200hz probably cost more than that. No RRP yet though, the estimate was around 1k USD

I just saw that Ideal Tech already have the Z35P listed in their price listing at RM4299.
X34A is also priced at RM4299.
