enough with obsession with kdb..people always focus on the negative aspects..If you dont have a problem and work hard you will get your chances..Azpi replaced Cole..Tibo replaced Cech, Zouma almost kick Cahill out, Willian hard work paid off in the second half of the season..Remy scored on every chances given...no place for soft spot..Mou value hard work and good attitude..

Mourinho sets the record straight on Kevin De Bruyne

QUOTE
"That is unfair because I wanted to keep him. And he told me it was not in his personality to be competing for a position in the team. He needed a team where he knows he can play every game. He needs to know that he is important. He did not want a team where he thinks am I playing or not? He needs that trust, he needs that quality. He needs that security. So I was not happy when he left. So yes it's not fair."

"He didn't tell me he couldn't handle the pressure. He told me he wanted to play every weekend. I told him this is Chelsea, you are very young, you have Eden Hazard, you have Mata, you have Willian, you have Schürrle, and I cannot promise you that. And the first game of the season against Hull City he played. For the second game against Manchester United, he played. The third game of the season was the Super Cup in Prague, I decided not to play him. For the fourth match, in the Premier League, he was on the bench. And he was not happy. He told me he was not happy."

"He was not training very well and he was saying: ‘I can't give you more. This is just my way.' So yes, I accept that if this his mentality and it's his choice to go, it is better for Chelsea to make a good deal. Chelsea made a good deal and he was happy to go and I am happy because the kid is a good kid. And I am happy for him."

"Players have different circumstances. We sold him, made our money and it was fantastic because we bought him cheap and sold him for a fantastic price. And now Wolfsburg, if they make a fantastic deal, that is good for them."

Hazard replacement if he injured? Cesc and matic replacement? Scary to think if hazard injured. Cesc creativity no one can match.

Please be rational mate, players that can matched those mention above/ have same quality with them will never sign for us as a back up.. with those skills, they can definitely be 1st 11 materials for 99% of other clubs aroud the world.. Why they want to sign for us?. On top of that, JM reputation is well known as a manager that always stick with the same set of player ( lack of rotation), so the chance for back up player to be on pitch is low.. That explain why none of well known/ expensive player / reputable/ star player want to join us as back up player..

Currently i'm really happy that we giving chance to our yougster to shine.. At the very least, they are already proven as the best youth team in europe when they won CL last season..

So far is this our squad will be next season?

Costa/Remy/Falcao

Hazard/Moses--Oscar/Traore--Willian/Cuadrado

Matic/Mikel--Fab/Remi/Rlc

Azpi/Luis--JT/Zouma--Cahill/Zouma/Iva--Iva/Azpi

Courtois/Begovic/Blackman

Correct? hmm.gif

If this correct,i think need to add 1 CB and 1 RB.stone will be a great addition and iva can focus on RB.

Agree with some of u. Our squad depth are not good enough compare to the likes of MU, Bayern & Barca.
Mosses wont cut it into those team. Traore and RLC too raw to be 2nd choice. But JM would know better so i trust him.

I am with sanfa on this, we cant keep buy buy buy all the backup player and then complain lack of youth coming thru. This is the step forward, if we going to lose a few games or trophy for the good of the future, so be it. I have faith in JM, he is all about winning, he aint gonna put his bet on youth unless he feel he is ready. Even it turn out otherwise, he will be the first to rectified it, just look at the player he sold, MATA, LUIZ, KDB, LUKAKU. So is either "My way or highway" chance given and the youth have to take it else off they go laugh.gif he aint AW with "in youth we trust policy".

I really want Remy to start playing on the wing.. but based on the news look like Moses and Traore will be the depth that we talked about..

and gry you are right we still cant find a backup for Cesc..im not saying another centre midfielder but a player that can pass like Cesc..

actually we dont meed Stones now..he is a great player but we should focus more on CM (playmaker) and Backup for LB
*
Stones on a 4 year contract and it will butn a lot of money to buy him now... Hes only 21 anyway....

Better fish him up when hes like 23 and have another 2 years to run his contract...

Thibaut Courtois targets Petr Cech’s record as new era begins for Chelsea

QUOTE
"I hope to win as many trophies as I can," Courtois told the Times on Thursday. "What Petr did with Chelsea was something great, alongside Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard and John Terry. Now it's the new era. I am a new player, another goalkeeper and I'm going a different way. What Petr did with Chelsea was exceptional, but I hope to get as many trophies as he did."

i dont think we need to buy just to backup any position, we need to promote youth into the team, is ok if we dont win 'all' the competition, even not defending our epl title, as long as we get to see our youth in the first team and hands on our second champion league trophy.. icon_rolleyes.gif

Some creative star player dont really cope well with intense pressure/competition...

They are like mamas/golden boy that need to be showered with lots of attention, trust, made to feel important, teams built around him etc...

Even fabregas is that kinda player, pogba, ibrahimovic, tevez,

They r kinda diva but if u care them enough they will blossom n show their true potential...

I'm okay with current squad.
traore, moses and rlc would be good addition to squad and it show we are willing to use youth.

Im good with the squad except that if possible we should sign another CM ( playmaker-Cesc-type ) cuz we dont have anyone with this set of skills in our youth setup..the closest will be either Musonda or Colkett..haha

For all that, really have to give hats off to Schurrle and Mata because no complains from them whatsoever. Maybe because the Belgians coz they are like the golden generation currently, with mostly youth in the national setup?

but at least they moved out because they cant get into the team, not because our club lack of ambition and success hahaha in a way it is a good reflection of how tough is the competition for first 11 under Mou haha
