yep. our backup and 1st team quality big significant gap. almost no one can replace Hazard, Matic or Fabregas in their role, not even close.

Expensive to find those who are able to replace them.
So finding on inhouse would be great solutions.

you are definitely right in thinking that we are screwed if either Fab, Hazard or Matic gets injured this season. I dont get why can't we go sign some quality depth. Youngsters will get their shot but right now we are looking thin in terms of quality in some positions.

the problem is that buying quality players just to improve the depth will cost us a lot of cash..I prefer we go for cheap experience or our own youth..

If a few key players injured I dont think we will stick with current gameplay..we will play differently..

AMR/AMC and defensive fullback needed badly.

oscar development mcm stop already. flash of brilliance here and there but lack consistency. most of the time, play at sub par. pity hazard need to do all the dribbling and scoring goal from AM.

willian good if we deploy defensive tactic. not much contribution when we on offensive mode.

Yup. This is what i think. Another CM or MR and we ready to go. Pedro is a good addition to squad because he is kinda players that suit well with Mou plan. Quite dissapointed when Mou ruled out pedro. Pedro can straight away slot in into first time and that will spark competition for place for cuadrado willian even oscar.

yes but mata cant really function in current set up..we just need a consistent oscar..nothing more nothing less..

The problem for oscar is he is half season player.
hope he can breakthrough his current level and able to provide consistency.

not an option. with our last season set up, mata fit well imo. oscar rarely do defensive work last season. fab + matic do most of the tackle. apart from our defense of course.

Dont count on oscar...he will provide chipping in here n there... But doubt he will be prolific and regular provider like mata or fabregas...

erm since when MATA is a holding ball and operating in tight space player ? he is passer, creative player, he need space to do his magic, like FAB he can play AM do 1-2 pass but he play best at CM where he have more space and time to spot his mate and do those defense splitting pass.

true, actually if he still with us he will be my first choice to be Cesc understudy..and yes AM we need different type of player..

you cant compare Mata with Oscar because Mata was in contention for LW, so he need to track back...while Oscar at AM..

dunno if we watch the same mata. mata is the only chelsea player during his time with that can execute passes from tight space + his 1-2 play with hazard always deadly. 1 of the best no.10 player.
