Hi all, need some recommendations.

Budget RM700, lower the better. (Its a gift)

Preferably more known brands. Mostly used for whatsapp, fb etc. Its for an elderly person, hence would prefer at least 5" screen.

Please give some ideas.

M2 note is what brand?

I've been looking around, found Samsung Galaxy J5 and HTC Desire 620G to be within budget.

Other less favorable brand would be the alcatel one touch flash plus. However, quite attracted by this specs.

Got a lot to choose from within this range, personally i'd go for either LG G3 or Huawei Honor 6 Plus.

*
What's your requirement?

Find 7
+ excellent camera
+ fast charge
+ expandable memory
+ removable battery
+ 2K res screen

OnePlus
+ 64GB storage
+ more ROMs to flash

QUOTE(Belphegor @ Sep 17 2015, 09:38 AM)
I am dwelling between these few phones. Do suggest me other phones if you think these phones are not good enough. Budget around 1k, can excess abit but not too much.

Oppo Find 7 - Because people been telling me this is the best phone with 1k budget
Sony C5 - Because I like the borderless screen tongue.gif
Lenovo Vibe Shot - Recommended by colleagues
Asus Zenphone Selfie - Recommended by colleagues

MUST HAVE: Good battery life, 3GB RAM, MSD slot, won't get heat up easily, good GPS

NOT NECESSITY BUT PLUS POINT: Good camera for rear and front, dual sim, removable battery, NFC

Currently using Mi3 and the GPS is always the pain in the ass. Also 16GB is never enough for me since I take lots of photos.

Sifus, please help me by let me know which phone would be better.

Find 7 SOT is around 3 hours only. If that is OK with you, it's the best bang for the buck... if you can still find it.

RM1k budget can't get any good Huawei or HTC Phone.

Huawei sub-branding can, Honor.
Maybe like Honor 6 RM899 (NLA - No Longer available)

1. Brand - Any brand
2. Budget. RM700 +- can stretch. i am shopping in the next 2 months.
3. Specs - 4g lte, 4gb, battery at least 3000mah, performance, smallest smartphone
4. What you need in the phone - need a phone with good frequency / connection to become a hotspot. i will receive all emails or downloads etc.... via tablet or laptop. i used to have blackberry and motorola atrix 2 for this purpose because the battery was very good and the connection was very good, consistent and stable whenever i use them as hotspots. Other phones were not good as they keep getting cut off at some point in time or were not able to connect due to weak line. But blackberry and atrix2 could at the same location connect my tablet.

I would go for alcatel one touch flash plus

It has 2 sim slot 4g lte, 2gb ram, 3500mah and battery life superb. Mine can last more than a day with fb, ig, foruming and reading news

Antutu benchmark can score 40k+/-

The major consideration is the price. Rm549 really worth every cents.

Bought 1 for my self, my nephew and my maid. Satisfied user here

You can get even cheaper with voucher code in lazada

Hi all,
Appreciate your input :

1. Brand - Any
2. Budget - ~1K
3. Specs. - ?
4. What you need in the phone - Good battery life, decent camera, near-stock android experience (i.e. no or minimal bloat wear)
