thanks bro for the prompt reply...
right now for the given budget i have 2 choice....
either buy a brand new/used phone or repair my s5 which will cost around 600-700...

if i were to buy a new phone...i might choose among redmi note2 / mi 4c...the difference is around 300bucks++
im in dilemma of these...
*
I suggest you to go with a new phone in case you felt that it is no longer useful enough. Otherwise, if you still feel that your phone still have hope, go with the first option (repairing).

Good day.

My mom is looking for a replacement phone and she's interested in getting an Android handset. We're looking for the best bang-for-your-buck on an RM1500 budget.

based on ur budget: Newer models are Zenfone 2 (4gb RAM variant), Honor 6 Plus, Honor 7, Vibe Shot, Mi4C (3gb RAM variant). If you don't mind older models, LG G Pro 2 & LG G3 (some shop still clearing stocks for these 2 phone)

top up a little for Xperia M5 dual, Mi Note

I would go for Honor 7 if I am in ur shoe. nod.gif Currently best bang for buck under 1.5k imho. If u got voucher code, can use Lazada to purchase it at 1.1k region. rclxms.gif

Personal recommend Huawei Honor 7. Best bang for bucks. RM1399.
Exclusive 12months warranty, first 6months come with 1 to 1 exchange policy, 1 time free LCD broken replacement.

Other worth looking which also around the budget range:
Xiaomi Mi Note, Xiaomi Mi4C, Huawei Honor 6 Plus, Samsung Galaxy A8, HTC M8 EYE.

Wah so many recommend Honor 7. I'll go check this out, need to make sure she's okay with the UI. The last time round I took her to see the ASUS and Lenovo phones, she hated the UI. sweat.gif

Hello guys ,
It's been few days that I almost read everything about all the phones in my budget bracket .
Now I'm Struggling to choose between these two :

1.Redmi Note 2
2. A7000+

Resolution ,  Camera and the looks are the most important things for me.

At first I wanted to go for K3 Note for the cool looking Yellow Set , But I'm not really into rooting and manually upgrading .

Redmi Note 2 seems slightly better , but I have to manually upgrade . Do you think A7000+ is the best option now ?

Where is the best place to buy it for a reliable guarantee and cheapest price ?

Tnx in advance

1st. i would pick Redmi N2 and A7000 sounds like 'bullshits'[if you know their stupid after sales laugh.gif]

2nd.Camera, Redmi N2, Sony Sensors

3rd. 1 Gadget, DirectD[go to the Federal Highway], 7 mobile

Brand: Any (see below)
Budget: RM500 - RM800
Usage: Browsing, call, sms, whatsapp, etc... gaming is also a plus

*IMPORTANT - Brand must be from companies that have a decent or great Cyanogenmod support
My previous phones were iPhone 5 & Nokia Lumia 920, both have solid, smooth, stable OS & no bloats, plus the 920 is insanely indestructible, simply, they just work
I hate custom skins & bloats so I'll probably just flash CM out of the box so please recommend 😃

Stock Android? Xiaomi Mi 4 is your best bet for now (you need to add RM 49 in SatuGadget, but this should be the best for now). Another one would be Mi 4i- a refresh with Snapdragon 615 and has unofficial port for it (the latter has official port).

Tnx alot for your response guys .
I guess RedMi N2 is by far the best option for me . it really does worth it , but I'm just alil bit concern about the upgrading the android ( I read some where that it's in Chinese and I have to install another ROM so I can have Google Store ).is it something that I should be worried about ?

dude, it's easy to google reviews to verify this. I help u dude. brows.gif

redmi note 2:
"Camera photos are good, with slightly above average resolved detail and dynamic range.
The 1080p video samples are OK but not impressive."

K3 note:
"Soft output from the main camera on pixel level, narrow dynamic range, but consistent exposure and good colors"

I did so many researches on the phone that I want to buy . I read and watched So many reviews , here is my results .I really appreciate can help me to make a better decision now .
1.RedMi N2 : It's really good , the only problem is the MIUI that even with the latest version 7 upgrade is still really RAM and battery hungry and its based on CN ROM. so if u are dont know Chinese you basically have to do so many manual update and rooting that make the phone wont be at 100% of it performance and it will get really buggy ( random shutdowns , ... )
2.Alcatel Flash 2 : amazing camera , good battery life but the performance is not at the best but since it got flat android it works pretty fine.still pretty solid for the price . and it looks good .
3.A7000+ : the best sound experience u can imagine at this braccet with the dolby atmo still as good as RedMi N2 in performance ( maybe alil bit lacking in High-end Game experience ) but the Lenovo customer servis is the worst . U shouldnt think about the warranty at all ( I guess all of these phones got this problem anyway ) .pretty good screen ,good camera in daylight , not good in dark places ,not a really good looking phone .
I looked up Huawei 4x , Lenovo p70 aswell but the performance is not close to these phones for p70 , and the camera and Resolution on huawei one is not good at all .
Any idea guys ?
