QUOTE(Deadlocks @ May 16 2015, 10:29 PM)
Nobody says anything about solving the problem.

Why would you bother solving a problem that you are incapable of empathy for?

Example: When my mother was pregnant, she would have chosen the solution to abort me, so that I would not be a burden to her life.

But guess what. She has empathy. She has love. So she kept me, and endure all of my B.S.

The governments in Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand wants to work out a plan, meanwhile, the boats are refused entry to the shores and must stay at sea. Food and water are being airdropped to them to sustain them, no? Why not let them come ashore? Because then you need a lot more effort to isolate them (I am sure all those supporters do not want them running around and possibly stealing stuffs), perform health check on them so they will not spread diseases (surely all those supporters won't want their relatives to catch something deadly), and clean up their waste (surely all those supporters will not want their waste polluting our beautiful beach and rivers). And all those gonna cost money, probably coming from GST (so the supporters want to protest about GST still?). Want to do good deeds and you need to be ready to sacrifice.

Eventually I think one (or all) of the government will take them, and ready them to be deported back to Myanmar. Myanmar might not want them because they feel some of them are actually from Bangladesh so it is not their problem. Bangladesh does not want them because they are already way over populated. So the situation is messy. More the reasons the other government wants to send a strong message to discourage more "refugee" from trying their luck. These "refugee" actually pays money to the smugglers for a chance to live in another country. But there are 1.3 millions of them want to migrate, so which country want to or dare to take them? There are enough of them to fill a single state of Malaysia. So should Malaysia simply give them a free state and ask all locals to move out? Which state want to be so generous?

At the end all those supporters bising much and they themselves have no clue how to resolve the issue.

You wanna solve the problem or not?

What problem? Not Malaysia's problem for sure.

Give them what is necessary to survive and tow them back to Myanmar.

What happens next is between Myanmar and their problem.

A round of applause! rclxms.gif

If they were gov, we would have them deserters sharing M'sia bountiful resources too!
We have got to share our jobs and welfare aye!
All the kind souls out there would be pounding the table, nodding in agreement now.
Kids from poor families who can't afford International Schools, can have deserters kids as classmates.
Your kids can now speak their language. You don't even have to pay extra. Diversity hey!
Adults too can join in the fun, instead of getting mugged by Indons alike... Now you can look forward to Rohingya!
And to those 4eva alone souls out there, redemption is finally here!
Get your succulent Rohingya wife today! All yours, what are you waiting for?
Just imagine the endless possibilities!

we MUST NOT send a wrong message that they will be welcomed here. these ppl is like a pest in your house. once it starts coming, it will never end and it takes hell lots of effort to get rid of them.

we have already a lots of issue to dealt with. where are we gonna get all these money to feed them?? when u have no food, wat will u do? you go ROB and worse, KILL. Its gonna get really messy once they touch down in our shore... so they must be kept at where they are. if Myanmar doesn't want them, death is the only option.

feeling sympathy has a price, and its a heavy price to pay for our country. PUSH THEM BACK is the right move.

Malaysia can profit from this

Just put them in a large plantation area ala FELDA and make a strict population control scheme and no PR opportunity like the australian solution
