Maximum brightness to last over 4 hours of video time(with WIFI) is not that bad by any means.
What i mean just not as good as C4 (max brightness at 635cd/m2), 1% vs 6% left.

after the new update, not that easy to get hot as compare as unboxing new phone.. new update also solved the waze blank map issue. i got another friend bought black unit M4 too.. noticed the same condition.. as long as you feel 8gb are enough, then not a bad phone.. a bit regret that M5 coming after 2 months of M4.. really wtf..

nvm, M4 is sufficient for me on daily usage, just if can get better one sure go for better one.. M4 the best is battery life..

8gb internal storage, 4gb occupied by Android system, left around 3gb for users (after uninstall preinstalled bloatware). if u just need it for daily usage like messaging, fb, whatsapp, bank, camera, GPS, overall i would say this is more than enough. if u plan to install HD games then i will ask you to avoid due to low internal storage..

What update was it? From Sony? Or it's Android update? Nahhh, I don't play games on mobile devices but only calls, text messaging and internet. Of course, shooting pictures. But there are 16GB units, right? Why not use memory card?

The only reason I'm getting the Xperia series is because of the IP68 certification, hehe.

Sony firmware update.. android still based on Android 5.0.. Only 8gb units bring into Sony Msia, 16gb there might be got but AP unit. Yes do have memory cards but memory card just for music,photos and video storage purpose. Apps still mainly depend on internal storage (although it able to transfer apps data to sdcard for selected apps)

yeah IP68, waterproof really one of attraction point.

That's because of that 6 months a flagship policy that Sony did last time. Since Z3 till now, the value is still quite high for a second hand phone despite Z3+ is around.

Or because of Z3+ nothing special so Z3 still can hold on until Z5 come out...haha

Hi everyone.

I need to know from you all about xperia c4. Actually my wife phone died today. Her xperia sola can't turn on anymore. Are you all satisfied with this phone? Im refering to phone performance. Most of usage are for Facebook, whatsapp and taking photo. The rest she won't care much.

I also notice Sony will release their M5 very soon. But because of she need a phone ASAP, my mind seem like targeting Xperia c4. She talk a lot about oppo smartphone because one of her officemate use that phone. May I know whether this phone good enough comparing to oppo smartphone (i meant a same class phone not a high end).

Tomorrow i must buy the phone already.

I've not used an OPPO before but having used Sony devices they are definitely reliable. My one complaint about Sony is that it is overpriced but if you can accept the price range of the C4 then I think you're set. As a mid range device and baed on your wife's usage, I think you won't be disappointed. Although I would say that the size of the C4 is definitely bigger then her previous Xperia Sola, and single-handed operation may not be possible, so make sure she's OK with that size.
