QUOTE(ChuanHong @ Jun 30 2015, 11:02 AM) LTE still lack behind from Malaysia telco in terms of coverage.. 3G most telco had cover 90% area.. i prefer stable 3G connectivity and constant speed at least 2mbps for us.. Actually I get LTE in most major cities I travel to for work, e.g. Kuantan, JB, Ipoh and Penang. Once you get LTE, you start to feel 3G is slooowww... if use LTE, when travel to other area which dont have LTE, then phone will research the network again and connect to 3G probably.. unless big city like KL been covered majority.. in other city actually not really well cover yet.. So for me personally, I wouldn't consider a non-LTE phone anymore. Waiting eagerly for the C4 This post has been edited by attw: Jun 30 2015, 09:14 PM |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 1 2015, 09:36 AM) not confirmed yet. Gosh, was close to getting the C4 but after seeing the posts here for the past few days, I think I'll wait few months for the C5 Ultra instead! EDIT : the C5 Ultra will be 6" and a new model Xperia M5 leaked as well. http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/07/31/sony-...medium=facebook I do hope your estimation of 1,599 is correct, although I have a feeling Sony might up it to 1,899 at launch... Fingers crossed! This post has been edited by attw: Aug 3 2015, 01:24 PM |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 3 2015, 02:49 PM) If you read the article, they estimated the price range for it. Ya, our gomen standard + 6%... Sigh...I chose the highest price range and increased according to our gomen standard. Anyway both new phones look good... now to wait 3 months or more before it gets here.... |

QUOTE(raymondtong94 @ Aug 6 2015, 10:34 AM) Hong Kong set to release C5 Ultra on 14 August. price is HKD3298 (after conversion RM1653) Then maybe we might get it at 1,599 as you predicted coz I noticed HK retail prices usually higher little bit than ours.http://www.xperiablog.net/2015/08/05/xperi...s-on-14-august/ Then again, with the USD now at 3.91.. |

QUOTE(Jay Chua CC @ Aug 7 2015, 03:15 PM) But then 1599 tis year many choices around that price bracket. Probably the hottest price range currently. Ya bro, considering there are 24,000 different Android devices available OpT,Moto X,Honor 7,Mi note, etc Really tough competition http://www.lowyat.net/2015/08/there-are-no...ferent-devices/ Anyway, since I'm only eyeing an Xperia device as a backup phone I might just settle for the C4 instead of the C5 Ultra, but will wait just in case the C4 gets a price cut when C5 Ultra is launch |

If the C5 really retails at 1,399 then definitely C4 can't sell at 1,299.

QUOTE(capoi @ Aug 20 2015, 09:43 PM) Hi everyone. I've not used an OPPO before but having used Sony devices they are definitely reliable. My one complaint about Sony is that it is overpriced but if you can accept the price range of the C4 then I think you're set. As a mid range device and baed on your wife's usage, I think you won't be disappointed. Although I would say that the size of the C4 is definitely bigger then her previous Xperia Sola, and single-handed operation may not be possible, so make sure she's OK with that size.I need to know from you all about xperia c4. Actually my wife phone died today. Her xperia sola can't turn on anymore. Are you all satisfied with this phone? Im refering to phone performance. Most of usage are for Facebook, whatsapp and taking photo. The rest she won't care much. I also notice Sony will release their M5 very soon. But because of she need a phone ASAP, my mind seem like targeting Xperia c4. She talk a lot about oppo smartphone because one of her officemate use that phone. May I know whether this phone good enough comparing to oppo smartphone (i meant a same class phone not a high end). Tomorrow i must buy the phone already. |

The Sony Centre near my place displayed the C5 Ultra today so I managed to fiddle around with it. My first impressions are that the phone is thicker and heavier than the C4, but it feels quite solid in the hand. It did feel a little bit slippery for me, but then again that is not unexpected seeing how it's mostly glass. The display is OK but when I put it next to the Z3+ and the C4 then it does feel inferior to those two.
Strangely enough they didn't display the price tag yet and I didn't ask either. But based on looks and specs, 1,399 sounds like a good deal. |
