I had an old casing Icute gives me a lot of noise , i even went to lowyat to find a vibration damper but don't seem to found one.The Icute casing are SL series , the front fan stop working at the first year i bought and i don't even know how to take out the fan.It's totally seal up , i really don't know how to open the front panel.
I have one power supply , one 12cm fan and cpu cooler master fan but it still gives an engine type of noise.Now my motherboard already spoil , realy fed up with my pc.Warranty will take like months since the age are 2 years plus going to be 3.Now i plan to get a new motherboard but i don't know how to assemble my pc even i read back my old asus baord manual.

Sorry for out of topic , just want to ask , since i plan to get one lian li casing where most of my friends said it's good.
I just want a slient casing that's all.
The defination of a good casing is as good as dell dimension casing where it is total slient.
That's all I need.

now ATE got promotion for Lian-Li case's. go there have a look.

If its Lian Li + added silence, then S80, really nice looking casing...in LL's minimalistic way....work of art....maybe a little restricted in terms of airflow

Lian Li V1000 is good but not for silence ... V1100 is good for silence for sure ...


anyway today went by ATE .. one of the employee there is assembling Lian Li V1000..

it looks nice with the Tagan PSU and the 8800 series card but too bad it comes with Intel mobo and original cooler ... spoil the elegant look of the casing ..

totally agreed with u .. v1100 is more silent than v1000 series .now im saving for v2100b :D

i noticed there are few our members here bought PC-G7 from ATE with promotional price..

Here is minor update after getting TR Ultra-120 move in.











It is much more quieter after removing the rear fan and added fan dampening rubber to the top ventilation fan ...

Any idea on when the ATE Promotion on Lian Li cases like the PC-G7 will end? Looking to assemble a new rig with it as one of the components soon, just making sure timing doesn't beat me to it

to allow better flow of the air directly from the bottom to top and exhaust from it ....

can't u see the top fan ??? it should be visible like in the first photo ..

V1000 and V1200 has the same exterior design with difference of the length only... V1200 is longer ..

V1100 is silent design so there is a closed door and sound dampening foam on the side panel..

plus or none plus is the difference between the accessory that comes with the case...

such as air duct and side patent fan....

price would be differ by RM 50 and up for plus and standard version....

u get a difference in hdd temps when u shut/open the casing doors?

u mean the front door ?? basically no ... it will only increases the noise level ...

besides my intake really limited but some how enough for the whole case...
