Acer XB240H Gsync 1080p 1ms 144Hz RM 999

Good choice if you are using green camp card (provided your card supports Gsync).

I assume your processor is at least 2nd gen i5/i7 because there are many variants of 8200.

Your mobo supports PCIE 2.0 x16 only, not much difference if you compare with latest PCIE 3.0 x16 because it won't use all lanes when gaming.

You need to get a decent PSU with at least 600W and add another 4GB RAM (I assume yours is 4GB RAM currently)

Seasonic S12II 620W - RM 339 or Seasonic M12II EVO 620W - RM 379 for fully modular cables.

Some OEM PCs have casing clearance issue and cannot support full size ATX PSU, please double check before making purchase or just swap to a new casing for better airflow in overall.

Bro sifu, just a quick question. I would like to buy an SSD to install the os/ aim for fast boot, so does ssd affect much on boot durations compared to hdd?

Final question, what brand should I go if my budget is 100 - 200+. Lite-on or Plextor?

Are you going to oc your FX8320? If yes, then you need a decent mobo with at least 6 power phases for stable oc but it will cost a bomb.

I included a cheap AM3+ mobo to fit your budget and it is not recommended for oc by using this mobo sweat.gif

Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 - RM 259
Kingston 4GB DDR3 1600MHz Value RAM - RM 99
PowerColor R9 270 2GB GDDR5 TurboDuo - RM 498
WD Blue 1TB HDD - RM 189
FSP Hexa+ 550W - RM 199
Thermaltake Versa H25 - RM 135
AOC E2250SWD monitor - RM 379

Total: RM 1758 (GPU is from Techview, others are Viewnet price inclusive of GST)

Windows 8.1 boot time on SSD is very fast, under 10 - 15 seconds can get you into desktop already. Normal HDD will take at least 1 min (in my case) to reach desktop and get all the startup programs done and ready.

One of the main differences you will notice is the launch time of browsers, Chrome launches instantly on SSD when you click it even on a cold boot but it would take at least 5 seconds on HDD brows.gif

If max budget is RM 200, you cannot get Liteon nor Plextor, both of them are priced > RM 200 for 128GB unless you search for their OEM SSD which is slightly cheaper. Kingston V300 128GB might fit your budget but the newer batch of V300 is using cheap NAND which slows down the overall performance. But you will still notice the speed difference even with the cheap NAND compared to HDD.

Not much review online sweat.gif

But it will definitely bring improvement to windows/apps boot time compared to HDD.

If I were you, I will save up a little bit more to get the Liteon/Plextor SSD. But the choice is yours biggrin.gif

The GTX 980 Ti is a seriously beefy GPU. You might want to consider the fact that your CPU will act as a bottleneck

Depending on your requirements (Screen resolution, usage, etc) the more economical GTX 970 would probably be a better pick

Yeah I do planning on oc-ing this, but would you kindly recommend me the stable mobo for this ? I can save up money to buy it. And also is 4GB ram is enough to run COD, crysis ? Just curious. Anyway thank you for your answer thumbup.gif
