itekderp actually... most sneakers also made in China nowadays lah. But most of my sneakers (in the past anyway) never tear like that after a little under 2 weeks of wear
absorb-d so many new UBs being released. Each pair also seemingly so sought after(!?). I've heard that the sole can yellow quite quickly... did newer iterations resolve that issue?
Hi bro, your case is defo not a wear & tear issue.
There are a few factors that may cause the issue. Just write in a complain to adidas Malaysia or go back to their outlet and demand for a replacement. Usually it will take weeks for them to replace another pair for you.
adidas in Mid Valley is not a direct adidas Malaysia store (under dealership umbrella), hence it will take a longer time as they will need to cross check back and forth with adidas Malaysia and adidas Singapore (assuming their APAC HQ is in Singapore). The APAC office will then forward your case to the manufacturing plant / similar to notify them of this defect.
This is the reason why it will take a long time for them to revert / replace another pair for you.
Irregardless of where the shoe is made from, they have to adhere to the standards and qualities of the brands.
