The hype is crazy. The normal NMD's listed on Adidas' website in the morning and within a few minutes 95% were gone. There goes my hopes of getting one below retail.

Anyways, something for the Malaysian sneaker community:

https://launches.endclothing.com/

Supposedly a fairer system of purchasing hype sneakers initiated by End. Don't know how fool proof the system is but no harm trying.

below retail price bro?

This just came in. Big thanks to Adidas who shipped it in good time and via DHL as well.

Have been walking around my office room in these for half a day and here are a few observations:

- The Boost really is something else and feels weird at first because it's unlike any other cushioning sensation I've experienced before.

- I'm actually more impressed with the Primeknit material. My toes are a bit weird but the material stretches just right so that my feet feels secure yet still comfortable.

- The cage does feel tight at first but eventually stretches. I can see the benefits of the cage if I suddenly have to run/move quickly (due to dragon, angry wife, ISA, etc) as it'll "lock" the shoe to your foot and thus feels more secure. The Pure Boosts are definitely less restrictive if you're firmly in #TeamCasual.

- As advised by some brothers here, I can vouch that you can safely go 0.5 to 1 size bigger than your normal Adidas sizing on Primeknit Ultra Boosts.

TL; DR : Will buy again. Only issue is if I still have the willpower to remain in #TeamBelowRetail for my next pair ranting.gif

I've been wearing these Tubular Radials for some 10 days for my short holiday, and I have grown to really like them. They're incredibly comfortable, even though I've had to walk in them for hours.

But it seems to build quality is suspect on these; the seams on one of my "cages" has ripped off almost entirely. Definitely unusual wear & tear, and something I've been trying to reach out to Adidas MY about, but no such luck. Anyone have any idea how I can contact them to speak about this defect?

Here's a better pic of the tear:

Yiha9944 ah, thanks for that. I'd read it earlier, and assumed that the terms were for online store only. I purchased mine from their shop in Mid Valley. Anyway, I read all the way to the bottom this time, and noticed an email address - which I have now reached out to. Let's see what they have to say.

That's normal wear and tear, consider that adidas is never known for built quality. What can you expect from made in China shoes really

itekderp 10 days of wear, and that's considered "normal wear & tear"? Woah. Maybe that is your expectation, but not mine... especially when that particular bit is not a common moving part and/or area.

Like I said, what can you expect from made in China/Indonesia wherever shoes. Think your expectations somewhat lofty here, but you can always try. Good luck.

itekderp actually... most sneakers also made in China nowadays lah. But most of my sneakers (in the past anyway) never tear like that after a little under 2 weeks of wear laugh.gif

absorb-d so many new UBs being released. Each pair also seemingly so sought after(!?). I've heard that the sole can yellow quite quickly... did newer iterations resolve that issue?

That's true, just I never expected much from Nike or Adidas. Most times their build quality is junk, very disposable shoes. So not surprised this happened. And knowing the level of customer service we have here, might be in for a hard time.

yeah UB are flying off shelves, possibly because of high resell value too

i think its a hit and miss? iv had nike/adidas shoes that last 10 years
but most of the time its the sole, either the glue wears off or parts fall out tongue.gif

The cage is leather I believe. Aside from that, I don't think there's anything special about this collab.
