KLCI was down 14.87 points or 0.86% to 1,716.81. Turnover was 1.65 billion shares valued at RM2.08bil. Declining stocks beat advancers 552 to 292 while 254 counters were unchanged.
According to Jupiter Securities Sdn Bhd's chief market strategist Benny Lee, the drop in the KLCI index today was also brought about by anticipation that Fitch ratings may downgrade Malaysia from its current A- rating. “The ringgit has also weakened against the greenback in the past week, this coupled with a potential downgrade from Fitch may have eroded investors confidence,” he told |

Wah long time didn't visit this thread liao...so quiet even when bursa on downtrend? I remember it used to move 2 pages in 5 minutes when Bursa hovering to 16xx.
