I seem can’t to find the app Sd maid on the play store. Any other app can recommend sir? Having same problem here as well

I'm on a 100MB subscription and watching Netflix 4K not a problem on this box. I would suspect is your speed. My 2cents mate biggrin.gif

to mention this problem to them and they suggested I do a factory reset which I have done and this problem still exists. Probably the hardware
on this thing is not adequate to play 4K.

Prime suspect is the device is starving of memory. Get rid of other applications which you have previously run and cached.

I'm on mibox 3 with 30mb line and don't have any problem watching 4k UHD on netflix. For some of the videos, it even comes with 5.1 channel audio. So line speed and hardware should not be the bottleneck.

Are you on 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz wifi ?

anyone think that the audio playback sound bad than usual? used to have a chromecast, the audio felt more punchy, with mi box s the sound kinda flat.

Hello any kind soul can provide me link or the APK for playtv@unifi for my mibox MDZ-22-AB. Check past post mostly non working link and not sure what version should use.

Looking forward to successfully installed it.

AOTG APK that work with my version of mibox would help too.

the 2 other mibox s you own is connected the same way to the same network as your 1st mibox S ? Perhaps you could try to bring the mibox and try at friends house or office. At least you can isolate if the problem is your network.

The hardware itself is definitely capable of streaming 4K uhd without problem

Guys i need help installing IQIYI on Mi Box S. Any tips ? Also is it possible for have TVB channels on Mi Box S ? I dont mind paying for a subscription or VIP access.

Hi All, I read at the other forum. There is no fix for mibox for aotg.
The only way is to change your box. There are other box that is working like TX3 mini.. not sure there others.

Anyone have other fix or workaround is great appreciate if you can share.

I have both Mibox S n Tanix TX5 Max.
Mibox S still lag like hell, TX5 Max working like charm sweat.gif for AOTG

Xiaomi is testing Android P for Mibox S, currently it is in second beta and most probably it will receive official Amazon Prime app with other improvements.

Xiaomi Android P Change Log:-
• Reading and writing via USB;
• New settings menu interface;
• Audio via USB;
• Special access for apps, such as overlap; Amazon Prime video as system app
• New interface when pressing the volume button;
• Screenshot while holding on / off button pressed;
• Options to manually select audio formats, such as Dolby Digital plus and AAC
• DD+ to DD conversion


p/s: Mibox 3 also may receive Android P
