Anyone has experienced mibox with international ROM, not being able to detect movie files with chinese naming?

Finish update, this fix didn't fix the issue where Netflix only HD and also Play Movies cannot playback issue once connect sound to bluetooth speaker.

Auto switch grammer error fix but still not working yet.

Hope above two issue get fix asap in next update.

Updated, this fix doesn't fix to play any files from external HDD at all.

Hmmm I saw many people commented this fix the ntfs issue for them. U tried with multiple players ?

Possible. There are steps to convert AA to AB just search the net. However its not 100% if not mistaken ... Some of the casting feature doesn't work as the AB version

VLC Player can play but not stable, MX Player can't play at all, haven't try kodi player yet.

yes, possible. i am using china unit with international fw. even getting the oreo and the latest updates. and casting does not work except if you cast from desktop chrome.

I'm going to update one of my unit from 6.01 to 8.0 and evaluate. I don't use the external hdd but I can try it out later for you guys.

I think I'm forced to update because YouTube is seriously freezing like hell lately. My main usage is YouTube for esports and my son weekend dosage of crazy kids youtuber.

Update:

Just briefly try my external hdd formatted with ntfs and it does work somewhat.

If I'm using mx player, it won't see the drive. I have to launch es file explorer, play the file using mx player and it does work. Seem like mx player and vlc don't support dts. Strangely, es file manager will play it just fine. Impressed.

I think I'm updating the second one too. This version seem more stable than 6.01

Yes it is, one more thing I noticed is the remote control doesn't lose the pairing like it does in MM
