If I'm not mistaken you can just find one from the Google PlayStore. No need to use external APK. Think I read somewhere the latest update causes issues on APK installations

When u see the install button greyed out, just press power button on your remote to turn the box of, an then press again to turn it on and you should be able to press the install button now

i have try turn off and turn but still the same.

Just press power button off and then on back.

Not turning the entire device off.

If still cannot. Try others orientation apps. Also what is your box Android version.

how come Lazada no longer can found Mi Box that sell by Mi Malaysia Official Store ?

i think the local authorized Xiaomi distributor has no stock of Mi Box. I asked for Mi Box at their Suria KLCC outlet and they also said they had no stock at the moment.

My work around was I did an ADB install of the Set Orientation app APK. Somehow this bypass the need for Android app permissions.
ADB install is now my favourite method to sideload apps on Android TV.

Guys, just got my mibox 3s enhanced, when i tried to test play HK/other drama(1080p/720p) through Kodi it's very choppy, it's stuttering like frames drop. I'm sure it's not about my the buffer because i have 30mb unifi. When there are Kodi UI elements overlay on the screen while a movie is playing, the playback is smooth though. Videos in youtube/terrarium is fine at the moment

Anyone knows what happen?

I dont have this problem evn on 1080p. BTW I have a Mibox Intl . Just install the speedtest app to check if the connection is good.

actually kodi has been choppy since few years ago.
for me i use browser only to find streaming sites online.
it works well.

i works fine now after turned off the "motion flow" setting in my sony tv

but only with the xiaomi set to 720p 60hz though, if i set to 4k, the video gets choppy again, if set to 1080p, sound stutter occurs wtf lol

Seems like something not right in your Mibox 3s enhance edition.

I don't have any mentioned issue in my Mi Box Malaysia edition and I running the box at 4k60hz resolution.

About your Mibox intl edition, need some helps from you since only 1 usb port there, if say we connected one ext hdd to it using USB Hub, and then another port at USB hub connected usb receiver for logitech keyboard and mouse combo, will both the device working properly when streaming 1080P or 4K video from the ext hdd? thanks!

i know right, weird......

i have a similar configuration as well, just that i am using a USB stick in place of the ext HDD.
Works well most of the time until someone touches the usb hub's connection / cable. if that happens, then need to restart the mibox again for my case.

same here, i got the xiaomibox3 for free, but it seems that the channels in there, ntg actually work.. all got banned?

n i heard the same as well, they banned playstore from being installed?
