Still waiting for them to change my existing postpaid plan to this..... since last Saturday.

I think you should give them a call, changing existing Celcom plan to this plan won't take so long, should be done in a day unless you port from other telco then it's different story.
*
Yes. It should be really fast. Mine from prepaid to basic 38. All within 15 mins

actually how the 'wifi' data allocation works ? Meaning I will still need to switch 'ON' my WiFi all time searching for the 'wifi' signal wherever I go ?

How good and wide is the Celcom coverage ?  hmm.gif
*
It's not wide. Usually available at their service centres, dealers, shopping complexes, airports and some common facilities like rnr n hospitals. U will need to connect to their Wifi and key in your username and password.

after changing to main line also, the number is under your father's account. so still need to bring the account holder along.

unless after changing to main line, you proceed to seperate the account. put the number under your name. so you can do whatever you want with your number your account after that.
*
True. Either way you need to susahkan your father also lol

My first bill is weird. How can it be RM67? That RM42.22 os because of the advance payment and also some leftover credit from my prepaid account

afaik, internal antenna is separated among telco. ie. maxis internal antenna is emitting signal for maxis only
*
If the telcos themselves are doing it then yes, it will be for their signal only. If the building management is doing it, they can include all telcos. Apparently there are some who do it for their own homes. See here:

QUOTE(alexanderclz @ May 11 2015, 09:13 PM)
apparently dealers need to pay rm500 to enable them to register this plan.

dunno how much is their commission but maybe that's y they charge rm5 for d sim so that they get back their modal faster
*
QUOTE(Alexdino @ May 11 2015, 09:18 PM)
LOL. dealer, and standard rate of RM5 for simcard.. i wonder how many fall for it.. laugh.gif even easier then scam in mudah. if im the one kena scam, i will report to the celcom center, if they cant resolve go to skmm, or even to kpdnkk because i bet they didnt issue resit
*
That's why I always, always go to official centres. If can go to Menara Celcom itself even better. Dealers can be scums. All they want is your money

Yours is MNP from other telco? My GF's MNp Basic 38 also kena charge RM10 only, but mine is Prepaid to Postpaid and the bill seems messed up.

I paid RM40.30 (with GST) for advance payment during sign up and Celcom charge again RM38 in my pro-rate bill.

I still remember last time I was using DiGi and the advance payment will deduct on first month bill (e.g. sign up RM50 plan paid RM50, the first pro-rate bill let's say is RM20 then DiGi will deduct RM20+RM10 stamp duty in the advance payment), but Celcom not like this.

Any could help me on this? I've attached my bill as reference.
*
Same here. What is the commitment fee in the bill anyways?

Does Celcom has official Twitter or Facebook page?

Digi has it, and easier to ask questiona or make complaints etc.

QUOTE(apisfires @ May 13 2015, 01:41 PM)
I ask through twitter... No reply...  Facebook dunno lah..
But I'm sure Celcom never embrace sosial media...
*
QUOTE(alexanderclz @ May 13 2015, 01:42 PM)
they have their xpax page but reply not so fast. i'd prefer online customer service live chat
*
Use their Online Chat for simple questions. They will answer on the spot. For serious issues use their OCS. Can attach screenshots etc. They will contact u the next day

I don't think you pay international charges for voicemail when roaming. Unless you retrieve the message when roaming.

But who bothers with voice mail these day? best to disable
*
The CS recommended me to switch off my voicemail when I activated my roaming that day. But I did not ask him why though. Maybe it's that reason. But I like it to be off. Dont want my friends to be charged whenever they could not get hold of me

just wondering whether it is possible to subscribe to auto-pay with Amex card? If not, can i manually pay the bill with amex card?
*
QUOTE(alexanderclz @ May 14 2015, 09:41 AM)
you can do autobilling with amex. fill up the autobilling form then attach and send it to the cs via ocs. but it will not necessarily being paid on weekends.
*
You can also fill the autobilling form at the OCS portal with your AMEX number. Although it shows Visa and MC logo only, it accepts AMEX. I filled mine and it works.

Oh. In that case, if I want to pay on weekends only, is it possible to pay manually over OCS portal or any online channels? Or must go to service center/dealers to pay?

Every user will automatically get registered for OCS portal right?
*
You need to register yourself. I don't bother with paying weekends though since signing up with AutoBilling already earns you 5% discount from Celcom. Will be given on your next bill

Telco coverage everywhere is not perfect. Where Maxis is strong Celcom might not. Same goes the other way. Before you commit to the plan buy a cheapo Celcom prepaid sim or borrow any of your frens'. Test the coverage at places u frequently go like office n home.

On billing date you can check the amount to pay in OCS. But details of your bill can only be downloaded after 8 days

Anyone facing same issue as me?

Problem:

Registered to Auto Billing ---> When billing comes, they did not deduct 5% from my AMEX card.

Just reported to Customer Service.

Thanks!

It will only be reflected in your next bill

I registered before the billing date takes place...so it will still reflect on the 2nd bill?

Yup. They will take 5% of your first bill and offset your 2nd bill. Same goes to your 2nd bill. Will be reflected in your 3rd. And so on. I have Autobilling on AMEX too
