some update on my problem after camera fix.
problem: the proximity sensor not working

i revisit back the SC twice in the past 2 days. what they did was reapply the adhesive on the screen to the motherboard but the problem come back again after next day.

last night i went back again n the sc promise will going to replace the sensor ( i dont think is the problem) and the middle case as well (this should be the problem).

so hope this round they will solve my problem...i will be more happy if they just replace a new phone to me

I'm allergic to xposed hence i make it deep sleep.

Got my Gold Note4 n comes with BOE1 firmware
After testing all ok I rooted it
Had problem flashing twrp using flashify app
So revert to odin to flash cwm instead
CWM unable to mount ext sdcard . So I flash the Sweetrom from internal memory instead
Will explore later solutions to install twrp ( my favorite)
Didn't face such issues on previous Note4 bought about 9+ months ago"!

btw, i didn't know you can install modem to improve your signal strength! My signal has always been 0-2 bars in my area and i suspect that could be one of major battery drainer. Just learned about the modem thing and flashed the one for B0E3 under the sweet rom page now i get 3-max bars on signal all time!

I flashed TWRP using flashify with no issue. Maybe you can try to check the external memory permission with SD fix app

Ok assume that we are on BOE3 firmware right now, but for Malaysia fw is BOE1. Do we need to use BOE1 modem?

I was wondering the same too but went for the BOE3 anyhow and has not experiencing any issue in fact,better signal strength Maybe you can test the BOE1 first then if got issue,can flash to the BOE3 right

can i still flash this although I am using rooted stock ROM? hope this can help solve the problem as the signal at my housing area is very weak, 0-1 bar normally

and another question, after i rooted my phone, stock ROM, can i still OTA update? cause everytime when i check for new update it says something like... "your phone unauthorized something something, please update through KIES..."

well since you're rooted,why not download twrp,put it in your sd card,get flashify from google store and use it to flash the twrp zip from your sd card. 1-2 steps only very easy. Then you can easily flash the modem

and no,ota update doesn't work once you're rooted. Just unroot,install the update and root back using same method lo

Because when i use xposed you can remember everything while modding your device.
But after sometime when you want to tweak again - you can't remember which one have you done B4 - hence FC or bootloops awaiting for you around the corner

Yeah Flashify is better for flashing img files.

yup, already have flashify and twrp installed. will try to flash the modem and see got any improvement or not. since now latest fw is BOE1, is there any difference if i flash modem for BOE1 or BOE3?

There should some differences but there is no logs just personal experience.

the temperatures do not mean on the issue of x battery performance, it means temperature to which the GPU can get without the thermal control into action.

The more the better performance in games and the less the lower performance in games and that's the only thing that interferes temperature.
