QUOTE(vandechrome @ Mar 26 2019, 08:02 PM) Any other solution u might want to advise? Sonoff switch - require neutral cable pulling. Xiaomi switch - don't have 3 gang switch Broadlink switch - design no so nice and need additional hub. There are some 3rd parties Broadlink aluminium/glass switches that is very nice. In fact looks better than those currently in the market.

Traffic condition can meh? How? Only can set two points for traffic conditions using Alexa. Pont A to Point B & vice versa so it can give you the results.

QUOTE(aneip @ Apr 11 2019, 01:29 PM) Nice.. It's hard for a company to do something like this. To realise the power on community much bigger the a group of their developer. By opening this, they will be relevant for a long time.. But can Sonoff RF shows status on or off?

QUOTE(Drian @ Apr 23 2019, 09:37 AM) Is there any other brand other than broadlink doing IR remote. I find it really buggy. It doesn't work some of the time. I am using Tuya, app is Smart Life, Google & Alexa compatible. So far OK. This post has been edited by adamw: Apr 23 2019, 10:27 AM

For smart switches is it better to use deeper conceal boxes? Standard seems only 40mm.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jun 27 2019, 04:27 PM) Is there a guide how you setup yours using transmitter board? I'm not really familiar much with autogate system You going to DIY your autogate? If not just ask your installer what's their remote frequency. BTW I don't think Broadlink can support those frequency hopping type. Seems RM pro can support 330-433 MHz with good tolerance. You can check this singkie forum. RM ProThis post has been edited by adamw: Jun 28 2019, 10:21 AM

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jun 28 2019, 12:20 PM) Specifically how do you setup the 330mhz transmitter? Autogate --> default autogate remote (control autogate) --> 330mhz transmitter (?) --> rm pro (to learn command) Under lamp settings learn the remote control, one side & 2 sides.

QUOTE(alucard89 @ Jun 28 2019, 02:32 PM) So you just learned the command from existing remote? Not from another 330mhz transmitter remote. So basically i need to avoid the autogate with receiver that comes with frequency hopping? Just get the ones that's within 330-433 mhz range supported by rm 3 pro. How far is your rm3 pro device from the autogate receiver? Don't worry, RM pro RF very strong, mine standard double storey house put almost anywhere also can unless yours is very big bungalow.

QUOTE(Fubar20 @ Jul 4 2019, 04:05 PM) For Sonoff, Installation is easy, just follow the manual. Setup is also easy though I had a S20 which wouldn't connect but I flashed it with custom firmware anyway. For Xiaomi, should be the same except there was an issue with the gateway version that was highlighted by a guy here. Check back few pages for it. I have use many Tuya devices via the Smart Life app & it seems very easy. And the IP Camera also every stable. Am I the only one using it here? Only the video door bell a bit cranky.

QUOTE(Zot @ Jul 5 2019, 12:18 PM) Any brand you think good is fine. The PoE is not something complicated. the LAN cable has 4 pair of wire. 2 pairs are used for data and the other 2 pairs are used to carry power. So, the power injector (or can say power adapter) is somewhere else at power socket. Some will multiplex the data and power together, thus using only 2 pair of wire to carry both data and power on same wire pairs. I think this is pretty common now since PoE standard has been around for almost 20 years perhaps. You can google. I give example here. You can see also how PoE injector cable looks like and how power and LAN combined. https://www.lelong.com.my/kx/poe+ip+camera.htmReal POE only used 2 pairs for both data+power, only POE+ uses all 4 pairs.
