Is there anything i nid to take note while buying aircond which can link to voice control n smart system? Since aircond got so much button n control instead of just On/Off button.

For controlling higher power devices, u can wire the smart switch to 'contactor'. Its function like a relay.
Smart switch power the relay, the relay power the device (ex: pump/heater)

Im going to power my water pump this way because the switch is upstairs. (Currently need to go up to switch on pump)
With smart switch can power from anywhere (app or HA interface downstairs)

i'm actually having dilemma between using the switches and sockets on zigbee or on wifi.

if on wifi, the smart switches and sockets can easily reconnect if i replace AP, as long SSID and credential remains the same. BUT, i will have tons of DHCP clutter. failure of individual switch or socket is restricted to the affected.

if on zigbee, it is soothing on the eye as far as DHCP listing is concerned, BUT, if the zigbee gateway fails, .... all sockets and switches will become offline.

right now i am leaning towards the fault tolerance of using wifi over zigbee for switches and sockets.

(there is supposedly feature to migrate devices connected through a faulty zigbee gateway to another replacement zigbee gateway, but it's an all or nothing proposition; cannot pick and choose which device transfer to replacement gateway "1st floor" and which transfer to replacement gateway "2nd floor", as example.)

i haven't test, but what i mean is, based on my understanding reading the documentation:-

if i have 10 devices on malfunctioning gateway A, i can only transfer all 10 to replacement gateway B and not selectively 5 to replacement gateway C.

Do take note, these switch can use neutral as well if u have neutral.

How low ?

I'm mainly using it with 20w downlights  and t5 led tubes. So far no issue with flickering.

Based on the specs it should work within 3-120w leds

The switch have neutral but my installation is without neutral

If it doesn't work u can contact Moes support. I've done that thru the seller in shopee and their technical team will revert with diagrams and videos guide to resolve the issue, these are not generic videos btw. If not resolvable they do offer refund or replacement . So far, pretty happy with this Chinese manufacturer's support

M i buying the right item for android user? A salesgirl recommend me the Near hub instead of Tuya Hub, does tat mean i have to install Near apps too instead of just Tuya app?
