IFTT is supported with homeassistant although i haven't explored that yet. There's a complete guide for it on home assistant website.

https://home-assistant.io/components/ifttt/

Once you add sonoff i think there's no problem to automate with other components added to HA. For me I'm still trying to pair with xiaomi gateway/motion sensor but I need to get the 2nd gen gateway first.

I'd recommend to try HA first before getting other more expensive home automation solution because it's well free.
See what you can control with it
You don't need to even have raspberry pi, you could get it running on your on pc for testing purposes. There's also cheaper single board pc like orange pi zero that only cost rm38

You r right. Totally forget HA can work as hub. It is only work for wifi accessory, but no way to hook onto zigbee or z wave accessory right? Xiao Mi smart home hub have zigbee right? Xiao Mi vs smartthing how to choose if wan the zigbee option?

Oh you're right, got any other smart switch that support >30A?
*
I checked b4, got, but china timer product, not dare to buy, not smarthome product. By right, safer option is should get high amp contactor n sonoff works as relay. Dont know im right not, this is what i get from google.
I initially wana setup for my 3kw central heater, but later i think it is unnecessary coz my central heater 50L, morning the water is still warm inside. Haha

how to adapt echo dot with HA? Where is that config.json & what is "run make" to generate haaska.zip

Setup

In the config/ directory, copy config.json.sample to config.json and update it. Below is a listing of properties that config.json will accept.

Run make to build a deployable package of haaska. This will generate a haaska.zip file that you'll upload to AWS Lambda (if you're used to docker you can try running make with docker build -t haaska . && docker run -v "$PWD":/usr/src/app haaska

Easier way for me was to install ha bridge, then just need to add ha settings (login/ports).
Then all devices added in ha should show up in ha bridge.

Yesterday found this site n get the setup done. But dont know how to add broadlink batch file. There is script/https/udp/tcp option, which one work with broadlink? How to generate broadlink batch file? On the HA, i still fail to add broadlink to domain. Copy broadlink script onto configuration.yaml still cant get the broadlink added to domain. Saw some youtube video use HA domain, recall to generate script

For my setup, I don't think I dealt with any broadlink batch file/script
Easier way to add the broadlink devices is by following this guy's steps in the description (he's using it for google home, echo also can)

You'll just need to add your homeassistant ip/login info

[attachmentid=9089890]
*
I followed this step 4 before this, add the code to configuration.yaml, but still cant find broadlink at domain as in step 5 to call the service

Step 4 code i changed to broadlink ip n mac & even a valid command script, still broadlink dont appear at domain

.

step 4, input the following code into the configuration.yaml code.
switch 2:
platform: broadlink
host: 192.168.1.244
mac: 'F4:56:4A:30:70:D8'
timeout: 15
switches:
tv_hdmi1:
friendly_name: "master chromecast"
command_on: 'JgBIAAABIZMRExITEjYSExMRERURExEUEDkRNxEUEjYSNhM3ETcSNxITETgSNhI2ExMQExE4ETYSNxIUERMSExE4ETcRFBETEQANBQ=='
command_off: 'JgBIAAABIZMRExITEjYSExMRERURExEUEDkRNxEUEjYSNhM3ETcSNxITETgSNhI2ExMQExE4ETYSNxIUERMSExE4ETcRFBETEQANBQ=='
(DO NOT USE MY command on / off code as your tv brand and mine may not be the same) copy the code from the original website https://home-assistant.io/components/...

step 5, access the the HASS web host http://ip address of pi:8123
on the top left.
Under developer tools, go to services, then domain choose broadlink, under services choose learn command. press Call Service and click a button on the remote you are going to learn.

For tc2 integration with home assistant you can refer to this thread

https://community.home-assistant.io/t/integ...erry-pi/8807/69

Or just use the alexa rm plugin for android

Can you share your steps adding broadlink hub?

eg alexa pls set the air condition temperature to 16 degree? it works?

just curious , can it set timer?
*
Yes. It needs universal IR device like broadlink RM Pro to bridge with Alexa. IR device can give any command on ur aircon remote control.

Your IR device is preset code& cant learn new IR control? Broadlink rm pro can learn any new IR code from remote control.

I dont have neutral but my aircond switch next to it have, can i split the neutral from the aircond switch on all my switches beside?
*
In my case
My aircon switch is also beside the switches but rccb trip if i use the aircon neutral because my aircon & wall switch circuit dont share same rccb 😳. My aircon & wall electrical point share same rccb. My lights point or ceiling points own rccb. But i think can recircuit the db box.Attached Image

One of my broadlink two gang switches malfunction recently, just less than 1 year of use, one of the gang always on.

Quality of those China electronic products still have long way to improve, especially those without big brand.

All z-wave products (around 8 devices) I bought from US is still working fine, without a single failure, quality always come with price, China brand so far only Xiaomi products are more reliable, I have tried Kudled, Broadlink, and some other non brand, all failed within a year.

Same. i hv two spoiled 3 gang TC2. One of the gang is always on

Agreed. If the RCB is in the path, the RCB will trip because it will detect imbalance in the circuit.

In rewiring the N at the bulb, I'm not sure if the N of other phase it available at the lamp point that belong to another phase. The only way probably to change the return N at the DB and that would change phase for a group of lighting points. It also will have one wire with different phase going to another phase. Am I right?
*
This is what i mean very earlier post. Even u hv aircon switch beside ur light switch, does not mean the neutral wire can straight forward take from there. Light & aircon circuit if different phase at DB box will cause the RCCB to trip, coz detected as leak current. I abdondon neutral line & use single live wire RF wall switch until it fail only may consider aqara. Another way is rewire ur DB box but dont DIY & get electrocuted, or chase the wall to bring in neutral line

Becareful to check for the door thickness requirement. Apparently my door too thin for most smart lock that require to replace lock. My only option is smart dead bolt

Maybe the usage is too small to detect? Not really sure how RCCB working or house wiring.. Hopefully nothing harm in long term.. What I understand all neutral goes to same place in DB.

OK, after reading about RCCB.. As long as the current from live wire and out to neutral wire is the same than it will not trip..
*
New house Light circuit 10A, own RCCB. Aircon 16A own circuit with own rccb. If light circuit use aircon circuit neutral wire, will cause trip at RCCB coz it detect as current leak. RCCB is safety features trip when there is leak of current that dont return to its own circuit neutral line
