How are you able to install light sensor switch, like power on when detect human, with bypass switch without additional wiring?
There is few way to do it, if what u mean is u bypass wall switch circuit to keep the light circuit power on 24/7 & install a wireless relay near the light on the ceiling. U may need homeassistant (hassio) as bridge & automation setup between sonoff basic (wireless relay) at the circuit connected to light. Zigbee xiaomi or aqara motion censor. Aqara motion censor hv extra lux sensor to detect darkness.
Other way is buy expensive brand that all their accessories work together & not require bridge

Hi, just realised so many sifu here. I already sonoff switches and now want to install MI home like IR MI controller and then MI gateway. My questions are 1. Anyone try to connect MI gateway with MI IR controller? In MI home app. 2. Anyone try to get Alexa echo to control both mi.home and sonoff on same platform? 3. Anyone has solution for autogate control to integrate into MI home? Looks like no one able to link autogate to MI IR controller.

Mi IR only hv infra red & dont hv RF right? Autogate is RF but with rolling code. Automate autogate control is not easy. If u r capable of setting up autogate, to setup home assistant should be easy job for u. 😂 Should setup hassio first i think if u r really into DIY smarthome

The wall switch without neutral line, the light connected to the switch circuit require at least 3w and above if not mistake. I once experience my led strip flicker when connect with TC2, but now all my wall switch changed to aqara
Connect the POW to your water pump. Don't need to change the switch.
Use a test pen to check which wire is live wire. Best educated guess is yellow.
I think the normal smart switch is single pole. Those high wattage pump use 20A two pole switch, safe to convert to single pole smart switch like sonoff POW? Better check
guys this switch is for my water heater. it uses 10 AMP and want to know which sonoff switch is suitable since this only have 2 live wires and 1 neutral?
Hi, any sifu can help me, I tried to set up my Xiaomi gateway, I checked my modem is 2.4 ghz, but, despite reset (long press) the gateway button, but still my handphone Mi Home app cannot detect the gateway, I used to able to detect the Mi Universal Controller before, now, I bought gateway (with whole bunch of smart accessories), Dafang CCTV, Temp/ RH sensor... wanted to put all of them to link to gateway zigbee... but, first step already failed... gateway also tak boleh detect.... sad.
U can try to plug the hub very very near to ur route.

For my condo, ac n lighting point circuit dont share the same neutral line. Ur photo wont tell. U need to get electric circuit diagram from developer to study the neutral line circuit.

you cant have it all show on the same app due to devices are region lock
but if your phone can duplicate the MiHome app then set each to Malaysia and China.
