Hi all sifus here,

Anybody have any idea why the broadlink pro + is not functioning to the google home mini voice activation.

Even after connecting the apps under the same wifi channel. In the apps we can see the scene created under the broadlink app. But asking the home mini to activate the scene, The google home mini comply but the activation is not happening.

EG
Hey Google "activate the TV"
"Activating the TV" google reply
TV is still off

Is there a software bug to broadlink at the moment with connection to home google? My sonoff switches is working perfectly well with home google. Anybody can shed some light...after searching in web, different individual getting different results. Appreciate if there is a video or tutorial and explanation that have been posted by somebody.

Cheers

Have you switch on the TV using GH mini through RM Pro before?
Have you use the bolded command before?
If it said "TV is still off", either GH cannot connect to RM Pro, your RM pro not connected to the internet or something blocking the RM Pro line of sight.

It has the problem with the sensor because if no movement detected, the light will be off.

Anyway, why do you need the door switch sensor? If you have human presence sensor inside the bathroom already, the door sensor would be redundant. When I go out from the bathroom, the human presence is no more detected and the light is off. No need for door switch, right?

I've been looking at the sensor and so far all the PIR sensor is actually motion sensor. Need a thermal sensor to detect body heat even if no movement like Omron D6T thernmal sensor. However, this is module level sensor. You need to have some basic knowledge to integrate into system.

no, it will off only if you set it to off
see here the conditions you can set - https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...post&p=90175193

you got to ask kelembai, he wants it that way. I suggested using 2 motion sensors.

i prefer a one brand solution then trying to implement different things from different system
this would be perfect for those using HA of course

Since you enter through the door, why not just flick the switch on your way in. Make it even simpler laugh.gif

ok tried liao - cannot work laugh.gif

reason is your door sensor tells it to turn on lights when you open the door
then your motion sensor also tells it to turn on lights
and when you close the door, all tutup....haha biggrin.gif

Thanks for responding,

The Broadlink pro + is just beside the wifi router...the tv the aircond and the amplifier are all in the same room.

I can control via the broadlink IHC app through my phone for all the connections meaning i can on and off using my phone.

but after connecting the google home app for voice control it wont work. The link appears on the home control menu but google will say activated but the broadlink is not responding. Not user friendly at all.

I have read a lot of similar issue but some say create scene to get it connected....i created scene and it fail to connect as well. Very frustrating..

all my devices are all in the same room.. i am new to smart home..i am just starting to try to link via tutorial in youtube and reading it as well. Something is clearly wrong and maybe conflict. Only if someone can point me to the right direction

Cheers
Chinchai
