I just realized most of my switches next to the 20A aircond switch. So meaning i can pull the neutral from the AC switch right? But if i wan to install 2x 3gang aqara D1 switch. Both can use back the neutral wire from the ac switch?

I am using aqara D1 3 gang no neutral now next to 20A switch. So far no issue. everything good. 

What the 20A switch switches? TO cut power to the light switch there?

Not using Aqara but Tuya type switches, already blew 2, 1 was due to led light driver blew, the other was I think due to incompatibility being paired with an analog motion sensor, was ok for a while, then one day just tripped, reset CB few times then it blew. Both is with the capacitor type, both capacitor was intact but the switches spoilt. Could it be the neutral type more lasting?

BTW, if anyone using Osram ledvance, mind commenting on the quality? I bought Philips Meson but the size and brightness available not suitable for me.

Thanks. Will buy one and try.  I was worried about needing a capacitor as well, didn't want to bother with the hassle.  Good to know this one doesn't need.

- support lesser brand of infrared-equipped home electronics and appliances (Mostly for china brand)

- cheap
- support most of the brand of infrared-equipped home electronics and appliances in malaysia
- poor design of UI for app

If you are getting smart controller for IR devices only then either 1 is fine.

Be aware, some of the fans are using Radio frequency instead of IR. If u are getting RF fan in future, better get broadlink RM4 pro.

Yes else u can use voice command. For homekit i not sure. for GH u need broadlink and xiaomi u need xiao ai to trigger.

for xiaomi app.. you can make a manual automation and add to siri shortcut.. then u can voice siri to on off for you.

things that you want to do kinda complicated.. homekit + google + xiaomi? you might need to explore home assistant.. cause xiaomi dont go along with google home.
im using xiaomi IR + external RF blaster.. can control my rubine fan and fanco fan. my motorized blind as well.

im using 3rd gen external.. some you can straight put inside xiaomi IR blaster looks better.. so far all RF devices in my house able to learn and control.

Smart as in just notify me when its rung, I purchased a Hue Outdoor Motion sensor that will be on the opposite pillar of the doorbell and there is already a CCTV camera that I have gotten the RTSP stream for. So the idea is that if motion is detected, then I will be alerted with a snapshot (through HomeKit) and if the bell is rung I will be alerted through Alexa (Home Assistant). I could import the motion sensor to Home Assistant first as well.
