QUOTE(idoblu @ Dec 11 2017, 06:18 PM) From Sweden those smart buttons 🤦🏻♂️ If Bluetooth selfie stick can kena Did they open your package or was it declared as bluetooth device? Saw the price for the zelkova, way outside my budget https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=a230r....bucket=9#detailPlus, the bolt locks for this has a different design, I think I'll just stick to the ones like yale/august that just replace standard lock.

FedEx/DHL? Still out of my price range, the yale lock that I got was around rm290 from ebay and that one got keypad Sherlock looks cool, also need to be sure to pick the right/left direction of the door bolt.

It was declared as Bluetooth enabled utility device" WTF! why cant they just write Flic Smart Buttons as in their name? On top of that I had to pay Rm50 GST because FedEx inflate my freight charges to USD$95 in the Custom Declaration but i only paid $15. Why? I dunno. My barang plus postage should be around 300 plus became dunno 800 plus so altogether kena RM150 This is the last time Im ordering anything from Sweden This post has been edited by idoblu: Dec 11 2017, 08:21 PM

Can pair with smarthubs like smartthings or homeassistant if don't want to pair with phone? Haha I haven’t even opened it yet. No time to mess with it. My Bluetooth is on all the time on my phone. I don’t see any change or big impact on battery life at all Can use Wi-Fi but need to buy their hub I intend to use it like a doorbell button This post has been edited by idoblu: Dec 11 2017, 08:41 PM

QUOTE(enriquelee @ Dec 11 2017, 03:25 PM) njoi? Means Astro? Mind to share the set up? So that I can save my sky high TNB bill. Eh.... still cost you more than tnb. Njoi/Astro is using 12v x 2A=24w.(according to the adaptor). That require 150whr if run 6hr daily. You need a 65ahr battery and 40w solar panel. With wiring and accessory, that can cost almost rm1k.

BTW, any different between Yeelight and Xiaomi Yeelight?

If you are really interested in solar panel, go to https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?showtopi...&hl=solar+panelanyway, if you want to save money, unless your monthly TNB bill is more than RM500, otherwise, just forget it.

BTW, any different between Yeelight and Xiaomi Yeelight? 50w panel can cost rm150. 65ahr battery cost rm500. Solar charger rm80. Add up the rest,..... It will never cost lower. Only for hobby. Benifit is you can have secondary power for backup. And running more stable home automation without tnb supply.

Only with 1 unit 1.5 hp invertor aircond on every night from 830pm to 830am next morning. Some more with solar water heater and boiling drinking water with gas. Only extra thing in a normal household is 2 unit of fridges run 24hrs, the rest are quite normal I would say. My TNB bill also have a statement say 'You're using more than similar homes 77% more electricity than similar homes'
