hi all, would like to seek for guidance here regarding led strip as well. From what I research, normally those smart led strip comes with the plug to wall socket.

Does it need to be modified to fit to normal lighting point in house?
Or is it only able to work with wall socket?

But are you able to get a RGBW led strip locally? I find that it is so hard to get one locally from lazada/shopee.

I'm using Aqara sensors with Aqara hub. China mainland account. The delay is very low. For example: I walk into room and I get motion sensor notification on my iPhone in less than a second. Door sensor turning on light also very fast. Feels almost realtime to me.

I'm using Mi Home app. With the 2 examples that I mentioned above, for the motion sensor, I enabled notifications in Apple Home. For the door sensor and light, it's set in Mi Home app instead of Apple Home. (It's 2 door sensors, light goes on when either are opened and light off only when both are closed. The light is the one in the Aqara hub.)

I also use Aqara app. So far only for the G2H camera hubs. And Koogeek app for a light strip and a few smart plugs.

Guys any recommendation for my Autogate normal one to be control by WiFi? Any cheap solution and easy setup

Anyone thought of DIY to make the house air freshener such as Glade to allow setting controlling using Smart WIFI module? cuz the default Glade air freshener only allow preset of maximum interval of 45mins.

I want to allow phone app to set the schedule, say, every 1 hour to spray the freshener from Mon - Fri and off during the night.

Smart home is waste of energy. Nothing is forever. Manual way make you save more energy & cost. Don't lazy just switch on/off manually is troublesome. You can do those simple & not overall.
