But now he switch to my tilam - he has neva peed/pood on my bed before except once.

when i first bought him back, he peed / pood in the tray.

then second week until my holidays .. he jz cincai pee poo everywhere in the living room (under my housemate's supervision lor).

then i came back from holidays liao .. i cleaned my room with vinegar ma and he started pee-ing on my tilam until now. He pood in the cage when I lock him in the cage else he will not poo at all.

what is mouth collar?

kenot attach playpen to the cage - my room not enough space for 3 extension of 3 playpens. And i dun want to put in living room anymore coz my housemate will spoilt him only. No co-operation from them one.

Then regarding the olive oil you mentioned in other thread, is it the normal cooking olive oil? How many teaspoon/drops should I mix with the food and how often do i feed him with olive oil ?

Joannelooidog, .. okay .. will follow ur method with consistency for few weeks .. see how it goes. Coz he pee/poo no timing one. I wanna set a timing for him.

nezu, i tried out joannelooidog's method and it worked alright. This morning i fed him at 730 am .. then at 8 am, i took him to the newspaper and ask him to pee/poo. 30 min later, he din pee/poo at all and I asked him to come and i played with him for about 30 minutes. Then I taught him some commands and gave him treats. After treats, I asked him to drink some water. Then 15 min later, i brought him to the newspaper again and he stood there for about 15 min and then he peed. I praised him and gave him treats. Then 15 minutes later, i brgought him to the newspaper again and he pooped. And I praised him again and gave him treats. I will repeat this method everyday until he gets it.

Don't go to Pets Buddy for grooming. I brought Hepy there for full grooming on Sunday and yesterday I kept seeing hepy trying to scratch his inner ears. Then when I tried to clean his ears, he struggled and won't let me clean. So, i try again today and when I rub lighly with cotton, got dried skin came off. I thot those were dirts and I was wondering why the ears suddenly so dirty one coz Hepy's ears were neva this dirty before. I thot they were dirts and nope, they're dried skin!!! They hurt Hepy's ears while grooming his ears. I looked carefully and inside got a lot of dried skin from injuries. The skin that came off just now made that particular part bleed. Jz like human when you cut ur hand .. then the new skin grow back .. then u accidentally removed it and it bleeds again. . Now okay already - stopped bleeding. Inside grow new skin (dried one) and i think they're itchy. I kept seeing Hepy trying to scratch his inner ears but when i say "hepy, no" in low voice, he stops it.

i took him for his first grooming at shop coz I dunno how to groom lor. I wanna see after they groom, how does it look like so i'll roughly get an idea. I will buy the shaver when his hair grow longer and I'll groom myself.

I think i know where. Not too sure but roughly know where. Is it next to a kopitiam or watsoN ?

When u use cotton bud clean the ears ... u said the cotton bud all black colour with mites ... Got bleeding ??

wahhh ... then i'm suspecting Hepy also has ear mites - i'm not sure. Tomorrow I'll bring him for vet checkup. Coz over the 3 weeks holiday, no one cleans his ears for him. Got bleed when I clean today and he struggled. Then I kept seeing him trying to scratch his ears and then once in a while, he'll shake shake his head. OMG!!!! But the wierd part is his ears do not stink at all. No smell at all.

Hahahaha .. . Hepy was never black and silver. Actually, I'm also not so sure wud colour is he. Seems like mixed btwn his daddy (black & silver) and his mommy (grey & pepper). After grooming, then he looks greyish. Before grooming, he looks like black ..

I'll bring Hepy go see vet tomorrow. Sekaligus with his 3rd vaccination liao. So, saturday no need to go out anymore. I'm afraid those might be ear mites and if i'm ignorant about it, i'm sked it'll do more harm to Hepy. Might as well see the vet and see what she says. From what you described, sounds like ear mites to me although not so lebat inside. I said Hepy barked very loudly (high pitch shrill) when the groomers plucked his ear hair - maybe the ear mites cause the pain. Tell you tomolo after i bring him to the vet.

wanna ask something. 730 am, i woke up and i fed Hepy and asked him to drink his water. Then i bring him to newspaper and he peed after a few minutes. I gave him treats and sayang him. Then 5 min later, i bring him back to newspaper again ask him to poo poo. He pooped after around 10 min like that but he pooped very little only. He ate a lot and that's not the usual amount of poop . After he pooped, he fast fast run away from the newspaper. Wait another 10 more min, i'm going to tkae him to newspaper again coz i'm very sure he hasn't poo finish yet. Why he dun want to poo finish at one go ar ?

Jz came back from St Angel's (puchong). The vet didn't give him his 3rd jab and asked me to return again 2 weeks later. She said she couldn't find any mites in Hepy's ear. She double check twice and she said no mites are found. And definitely not fungus coz he didn't lose patches of hair on his body. She said it's probably some bacteria but she can't confirm it . She gave me that cylinder thingy to prevent him from scratching, and gave me some antibiotic tablets together with ear liquid. She's also not sure what is it worr .. but she said looks like dead skin / scalps to her.

This morning in the car, dunno why he suddenly vomitted. First time he vomitted in the car. After vomitting ..... about 30 min later, he suddenly pooped in the car . So smelly!!!! This morning he already pooped before we left neh ..

I just gave him his antibiotic and he doesn't look so well. I put him in the cage while I iron some clothes. Then I open the cage door and ask him to come .. he jz stand at the cage door, whining, just like dun dare to come out coz he can't see clearly since his side visions are blocked by that cylinder thingy.

nope .. keeping him. Heart-broken wanna sell him away.

3 weeks holiday i asked my housemate to help me jaga ... he didn't bath or clean his ears. Now kenak infection liao lor .. dunno wud infection .. vet couldn't be sure but said it's not mites or fungus. So, probably some bacteria .. gave him antibiotic and ear liquid.

if din put the cylinder thingy, he wanna scratch his ears and body ... kenot let him scratch else he'll neva recover. He's still not used to wearing the cylinder thingy. He jz stand there iwthout moving. Just like very sked . I also dunno how to make him feel comfortable and be himself.

yupe .. still having anxiety but not that serious ady .. these two days i got try and teach him not to bark when i'm not in as well as pee poo. So far okay. But when I go to campus, i put the muzzle on for few hours until i come home. Monday need to put longer hours lor. Tuesday, thursday, and friday .. put about 2 hours like that only. Weekends and wednesday ... i'm home whole day long. So, monday kolian a bit lor....

dunno wor .. i think they threatened only gua ... coz hepy din bark and they din come over too. Hepy seems very very unhappy with that cylinder thingy clinging on him. I let him roam free but he din roam at all. He stands at the same spot for more than 1 hour already. I was wrapping up my two tilam with big big plastic bag (sked of his urine liao) but he jz stand at the same spot without moving at all until now. And he also keep looking at the same spot. He looks very very uncomfortable with that cylinder thingy tying onto him wor. They tie very very loose one. How to make him feel more comfortable and be back himself ?

Added on June 20, 2007, 2:01 pmi bought soda powder as instructed by crazymouse. I sprinkle and spread them all over my two tilam. Then wrap one tilam with plastic cover. Then the other tilam .. i sprinkle too .. and cover with bedsheet. I spread some onto the bedsheet too. Then cover with a second layer of bedsheet. Hopefully he can't smell his urine on my tilam anymore
