another thing to take note of, if you accept the MNC job, it could do you good in the future when you're applying for another job. experience in an MNC will look good in your resume.

I think in the long run, working at the MNC would provide you with the valuable experience you would need for the future. You definitely can't buy experience.

^- but that doesnt mean that small companies dun have such experience, sometimes its the other way round, being in MNC, such big company with so many employees, when is ur time to climb up? or how many percentage u are able to go up? and dun forget ... the greater the company, the more complex office politics will have ...

they are also very focus on job scope, u do this mean u do this, u cannot step over ur line, thus limit ur learning scope... being in small companies sometimes u need to do virtually-everything but from another point of view, u learn more and get more exposure...

sorry, I also want to keppo(busybody) a bit. tongue.gif See if contructive not? sweat.gif
The comming's Co would be opposite of what mentioned.

Current Co
cons:
-limited resources, not much good/awesome experiences to be gained?
-Pay is limited. Won't get paid like S$20k per month. (If and only if you are director of something and something in MNC in the future)
-Not higher class? perhads??? As those people in MNC that you gonna meet, could be president this and that. You got all the chance to know them if lucky.
-Not as professional as what public thought you are? Normally people seeing staffs in big company really differently.
-

pros:
-Not much office politic. I hate this the most!!!
-won't lost job. More stable.
-What if you can be a boss for your own in the future? Then, you might be earning RM 50k per month or more.
-Lesser competitiveness. MNC really really something wrong one. Everyone is like trying to protect him/herself first. So, the best friend with you in MNC. Could be anytime the one who pulling your legs that causing you lost your job. sweat.gif

you're an asset they cant afford to loose, this is the opportunity to demand before they give you more responsibility.

staff leaving can be their own attitude issues or just couldnt bounce back from company scrutiny. you dont have to fall under peer's pressure/influences.

Yea its always about other people faults and never the company faults when people resign. And its never about people getting a better opportunity elsewhere. rclxub.gif Agree? Everbody?

IMHO people resign because maybe they strike lottery and time to retire early. thumbup.gif

totally agree.
Thread starter, Chris has very good point here. This is exactly wat happens in MNC.
My opinion is u can learn bigger job scope and gain more exposure in small or medium company. BTW, u got 30% extra.
Unless ur job scope is very small in current company.
Specific job scope = limit ur competency when apply jobs in the future.
