My biggest qualm with BR is his inability to spot talent and tendency to overpay for mediocrity.

While I'm no big fan of Rafa's conservative tactics, he does have an eye for players especially when it comes to the "marquee" signings. His big signings are usually hits and among them Mascherano, Torres, Alonso, Pepe. While the misses are often due to a lack of funds and having to settle for someone cheaper. In an ideal world where he is backed by a sugar daddy owner, his team would be a force to reckon with.

Every manager has a fair share of rubbish signings but the fact that Rafa won the CL in his first season with practically Houllier's squad with the likes of Traore, Smicer and Biscan in it surely tells you something about the man.

Rafa basically single handedly destroy the "century old adage that success equals to time" with that victory. No more "Fergie took 5 years to win the league" bedtime stories.

After 3 seasons, Wodgers has the balls to come out n said "we need more time and character" which is the new codeword for "we are utterly shyte".

Rafa is also a stat man so I'm surprised FSG keeps on sidelining him but I know for a fact Rafa is a warrior and control freak so he will not work well with these penny pinching capitalists.

The most annoying thing I don't like about BR is his sky rocket EGO. He can't seems to admit his mistake. Just look at how he blame everything except himself when he loses.

Oh and his over confident attitude, noticed how his interview all backfired?
Spurs spent 100m, they should be challenging the title.
No sympathy on Soton, they sell cause they doesn't aim for CL anymore.
LVG may find it difficult in EPL.
Bla bla bla, many many more.

He is simply not mature enough to handle the big club, nuff said!

United will struggle to sign big names without CL - proceeds to sign Falcao and Di Maria while we settled with small names with big price tags bar Balotelli.

Rodgers imo has the worst transfer record in the history of Liverpool FC surpassing the great Woy Hodgson himself. Yes Poulsen and Konchesky are rubbish but they were signed for peanuts at a time when there were so much uncertainty within the club. The most expensive signing Woy made during his short tenure was Meireles who I think we can all agree is a pretty good player albeit not world class and I would have him over Allen anyday.

Real Madrid is going to get Rafa and we are still yet to sack the manager who got us whopped 5 goals by half time?
