Unfazed by Sterling's seemingly impending departure.

More concerned about FSG sticking with Rodgers instead of going for Klopp or Ancelotti. Availability of managers of such quality don't come often. Keeping Rodgers should only be an option if they can't bring in a top class replacement.

More happy about Ibe tying down on a 5 year deal. There's definitely more potential in this kid than Sterling.

This is probably the best performance from Liverpool players so far. I have never seen such level of grit, unity and teamwork in getting the gaffer out of the club.

Each of these players deserves a pat on the back if Wodgers does get the sack tomorrow.

ancelotti has stated publicly that if sacked by madrid he intends to go on a year long sabbatical

klopp seems to be the most realistic and qualified choice at the moment

Liverpool's disappointing season ended with an abysmal 6-1 defeat to Stoke City and it does not look like Divock Origi has fared much better out on loan at Lille.

The Reds signed the Belgian international for £10 million last summer from Lille, but allowed him to spend the season on loan at the French club.

However, he has been named by respected French sports daily L'Equipe in their worst XI for the season based on average match ratings for all players who have made at least 21 appearances.

Jürgen Klopp to take a sabbatical for at least six months, so no chance of him joining Liverpool in the summer (via @BILD_Sport) #lfc

Liverpool are not considering replacing under-fire manager Brendan Rodgers this summer, according to Sky sources.

My biggest qualm with BR is his inability to spot talent and tendency to overpay for mediocrity.

While I'm no big fan of Rafa's conservative tactics, he does have an eye for players especially when it comes to the "marquee" signings. His big signings are usually hits and among them Mascherano, Torres, Alonso, Pepe. While the misses are often due to a lack of funds and having to settle for someone cheaper. In an ideal world where he is backed by a sugar daddy owner, his team would be a force to reckon with.

To add to Rodgers' list of arrogant statements...

United will struggle to sign big names without CL - proceeds to sign Falcao and Di Maria while we settled with small names with big price tags bar Balotelli.

Rodgers imo has the worst transfer record in the history of Liverpool FC surpassing the great Woy Hodgson himself. Yes Poulsen and Konchesky are rubbish but they were signed for peanuts at a time when there were so much uncertainty within the club. The most expensive signing Woy made during his short tenure was Meireles who I think we can all agree is a pretty good player albeit not world class and I would have him over Allen anyday.
