I believed juve held on to sturaro due to his young age, hoping that he could grow further or developed into some other role as he aged on, however that seems not the case. I agree he should be the first one out, probably try his trade in low/middle team.

btw marco pjaca is being loaned out to schalke04, hopefully he can develop more there

i think its a good move regarding Pjaca. Its quite hard for him to fight for first 11 considering he has to compete with the likes of Cuadrado, Costa, Bernardeschi..even Mandzukic

We've been on a pretty good streak lately.

I mean, our toughest period so far where we had Roma, Inter and Napoli in the same month and we won them all except for the Inter match. Kind of goes to show that we rise to the challenge of other title contenders. I guess we kind of woke up after the Sampdoria match.

Good performances in the Coppa lately as well. I hope we can carry this form to our UCL campaign.

Was hoping Can would be with us during the winter market, but I guess that's not happening as Juve would rather get him as a free agent in the summer.

Pjaca...a bit of a shame that he was loaned out to Schalke but I guess that was the best option for him to get his form back and to be able to contend for a place in the World Cup this yea.

I'm still not sure what should I expect from Can. He tends to disappear in games. Marotta loves freebies so I think he will join us in the summer if pre-agreement contract will be signed.

It's kinda tradition for us to start slow every season. I still think the League title is for us to lose. Napoli and Roma is good but they're also inconsistent being Roma has a better depth in their bench. Who else? Merda? They almost lost to a 3rd tier team. The environment there is too toxicated so it's kinda expected for the meltdown after a perfect start

I think it's quite obvious now it's 2 horse race between Juve & Napoli. Napoli really want SerieA title that they dropped European football & Coppa. They don't have depth, so if one/two core players injured they will suffer. Still they have like 30-40% chance winning.

Roma I think played smartly. They realized there is a lot of money in UCL, even when they just make to final 8. I think they could beat shaktar and go to final 8.

Juve chances of doing double again is 70-80%. VS spurs will be very critical and I really hope juve do not repeat the same mistake vs Bayern. It always should be fino alla fine !!!

Totally an ugly win, we are lucky to get 3 points playing away. Should've been awarded a penalty against us for that Benatia's elbow.

Seeing that both Roma & intermerda dropping points this week, while both Juve & napolimerda pulling some distance between them..the race would certainly be a 2 horse race by now

I like Juve to focused on UCL more but Scudetto is a must..Coppa would be an icing on the cake

seems that Juve fans has been divided with the case of Claudio Marchisio

one side want him to stay at the club

the other want him to depart, maybe due to the fact that he spent more time in club clinic rather than on the pitch

Me, personally? I want him to stay, the matter of fact is, Claudio is the current longest serving Juve player, having been with the team in youth sector since 1993 to date. Along with Buffon, and probably Chiellini, i would include Barza in the mix too, considering his best years were at Juve, Marchisio is one of our club icon, like Paul Scholes for United, and Andres Iniesta for Barca, for example

on professional note, seeing that he's currently injury ridden, maybe a starting spot just too much for him. Principino can always be our super-sub, but atleast he's still with the team

last thing i wanted our club to be is selling our "soul" and becoming like a typical business-oriented club alone.

He is the Il Principino of Turin, hence why the fans wanted him to stay. I guess ACL is the last injury any athlete wants to suffer from. He's never the same after that injury. I hope he will stay and retire as our little prince. Take up any senior role within the club. I still hope ADP will have that offer

I think there is no point for him to move either, he might just injured elsewhere biggrin.gif
Marchisio should just stay and do his best when called. He should be prepared for big games, as he is probably the only midfielder who can cope in big games.

continuing where we left off

should've won by a bigger scoreline though...maybe the break period reduce the sharpness of the team, but a win's a win

A win's a win - nicely said.

Just worried that Napoli keeps up this one point lead which seems hard to break.
When do we commence UCL again, February is it?

even with a -1 point behind Napoli, i still think the Scudetto is ours to lose

given time, Napoli would probably suffered a breakdown, like Inter did last month. And it has happen a few seasons b4, when Roma with around 8-9pts behind Napoli IINM,
but they managed to leapfrogged em due to Napoli "breakdown"

and seeing that they're in UEL, i wouldn't be surprised if they bow out to RB Liepzig and try to focus more on the league, while Juve gunning for all 3 major cups

Yea, Napoli seems to be really setting the bar high this season, which in a way is a good challenge to us. I vaguely remember their breakdowns in past seasons, but somehow I dunno, maybe this season they're really hungry for it. It might boil down to us beating them when we meet again and that might be the difference this season allowing us to leap frog them.

I guess we'll see in a few months; the first half of the season was over so quickly.

yes. But still, i think our team still inept when it comes to pilling pressure to opponent

teams like Barca or Bayern would've a field day against the opponent who was down to 9 man. But we struggle to put one past their net prior to
Khedira's strike. What i'd noticed Juve usually build up possession b4 attacking and this gave Chievo players chance to trackback and crowd their penalty box

I hear you man, I'd rather we win convincingly against a full team rather than a scrappy win against 9 men.

Imagine if Chievo retained all 11 men, then what? Right?

Allegri himself said he's not happy with the team's performance. And you're right too, teams like Real, Barca etc would have a field day against opponents with 9 men.

Sometimes it's much harder to play against opponents with players down. They just tend to defend deep and try to catch us with a counter (woj rushed out for that clearance). Even if Chievo is a lower grade opponent, their defense are quite organized and we normally don't play well in Verona

Quite a good result last night, an away win in Bergamo

Considering Atalanta is on a good run of form and we took a 1-0 goal lead heading to the 2nd leg in Turin..and what can i say about the Superman..denying Papu Gomez penalty kick and that save near the end of the match(from Atalanta's player offside position)

Well said bro, I didn't consider that teams might just park the bus when they're down to 10 or 9 men.
