This goes to show we are the perennial runners up in the CL... lost 6 finals my goodness. I personally witnessed 5 defeats. 97,98,99,03,15

Even the weaker teams like Liverpool and Chelsea also managed to win with a bit of luck. We neither have the luck nor the financial power. To win CL, you need money. Heart and passion not enough... cry.gif

Hence we always can dominate Serie A with 1.2 mil , 10 mil players but to win the big one, we cant coz we didnt buy a 82 mil signing nor a 50mil signing... I dont think i wanna watch another Juve CL final again.. cry.gif

I think the whole pre-season should be spent on getting our transfers right. Right as in getting more players who can make a difference. We need to start early as be prepared money clubs like Man Utd, Man City, PSG, Barca, Real and co will start their 50 mil 80 mil buys again

I think we did very very well to get Dybala for 40 mil before the transfer even begins. Like I said, 10 mil 20 mil can win you domestic titles, but to win the big ones, we need big big signings. Even if we are not signing some superstars, we got the ability to sign big youngsters. Someone like Dybala

Next year:

GK - Buffon
LB - Evra
CB - Rugani
CB - Bonucci
RB - Damain
DM - Marchisio
CM - Vidal
CM - Pogba
AM - Berardi
FC - Dybala
FC - Morata

Once the core grp is ready... we need to spend the entire pre season working out on coming up a new tactic. How to stop Barca must also be on the agenda. Yes, they can be stopped with a brilliant idea

Awesome posts guys. I am really proud of the guys despite the defeat. Our guys are old veterans, some cheaper players but my word they have a lot of heart and fight in them. Next season we should focus more on Europe...

Build a team not just with heart but with quality. One of the reasons why Barca can be so successful. They got heart and super quality. Those with quality but not much heart? Look at PSG and Man City as examples

GK - Buffon (He has heart, he has superstar quality. He is a legend. Two near impossible saves. One from Alves, and one super near post saved to den Suarez. Even Suarez was stunned at that save)

DL - Evra (He has heart. He has reputation. He did very well this season. 1 more season for Evra I say! and thats it)

DR - Lichteiner (Despite his assist for Tevez's shot, I feel forest gump is going downhill. We need a star quality RB. Leandro Darmain is a real deal. I have watched a few of his games he is a star in the making. Sold in defense, great in attack. Or.... maybe we might get Dani Alves!) (he needs to be replaced to the sub)

DC - Bonucci (Showed the world what load of rubbish, Phil Jagkiela, DAvid Luiz, Jerome Boatang are. CAn only go on to greater things. He must be considered a key player next season)

DC - Daniel Rugani (Yes he is ready. I have tracked alot of his games. He is almost as good as Chiellini and Bazag now and will eventually surpassed them even. A superstar defender in the making. He is redy to make the step in. )

MC - Vidal (He is an absolute beast. However, he attacking prowess has faded but his defensive side has grown so much. He needs to be our new Gattuso, Roy Keane. He is a superstar. Not as a box to box anymore but as defensive shield)

MC - Pogba (Problem with him is his mental. Get it right, he will be our Iniesta. Maybe not in terms of creativity but in terms of all round play. Like a Patrick Vieira. He is a superstar in the making)

DM / Playmaker - Marchisio (Should be our Sergio Busquest. Got the ability to close, anticipate and a good range of passing. Our most balanced midfielder and should now replace Pirlo full time. Pirlo to the bench and rotation)

AMC / Second Striker - Dybala (Is a superstar in the making. With super ball control and dribbling ability, he has the potential to be as good as Suarez or a Neymar. He can take the attention and load off Tevez as I feel Tevez has been too heaviliy marked in the past 1 month)

AMC / Second Striker - Tevez (With Dybala drawing attention and flak, he can do what he does best. playmak, close down and score from deep. Eventually he will leave, but is to be repalced by Domenico Berardi. Another livewire in the making)

SC - Morata (Full season for him. Got the height, the pace, the strength, the poaching ability. He must improve and take the next step to superstar dom)

New formation: 4-3-2-1 Key players (Morata, Dybala, Pogba, Vidal, Bonucci, Rugani, Buffon)

Key subs I hope to see
: Robin Van PErsie
: Sami Khedira
: Andrea Pirlo
: Bazagli
: Chiellini

seeing that Juve already acquired Dybala, and Tevez probably staying another season..and Morata in a red-hot form while being adored by most Juve
fans...its a slim chance Juve will try to lure in Cavani
great & concrete post Jusstatic. I would about the say the same about Vidal, bcoz i think we all noticed, after his return from the long-term injury, he's
no longer the Vidal that can shot a powerful strike like we all witness during 2011-12 to 2012-13 (hence why he's among our topscorer back then)

but he's more a defensive minded a-la Gattuso, Vieira right now

and man this setup looks delicious(on paper atleast..esp on the attack). I just couldn't wait for the start of next season flex.gif  cool2.gif

------------------------------Buffon-------------------------------
Lich/Darmian*---Bonny-----Chiello/Rugani*--Evra/Asamoah
----------------------------Marchisio------------------------------
-----------------Pogba----------------Vidal-----------------------
-------------------Tevez---------------Dybala---------------------
-----------------------------Morata--------------------------------
*
Yup. and in 2016/2017

GK - Buffon
RB - Darmain
LB - Kurzawa
DC - Rugani
DC - Bonucci
DM - Marchisio
MC- Pogba / If he goes, exchange a top player. If he goes PSG, take Veratti plus some cash, If he goes Man City take Silva plus some cash, if he goes Barca, take Rakitic plus cash, if he goes Real take Modric plus some cash
MC - Vidal
FWF - Paolo Dybala
RWF - Domenico Berardi
FC - Morata

QUOTE(zaidi @ Jun 8 2015, 03:44 PM)
Juve should also look at German/French market. Marco Reus might be good target, or Gundongan. However, aside from recent Pogba signing, Juve is pretty much predictable in acquiring players.

During Moggi era, he loved to create smoke screen on players to be signed, let the media speculate more until the eventual unveiling.
*
Hmm I agree... Reus would be awesome.. But with our current formation, we need to have a trequerista as well. A playmaker... If I am not wrong, Schalke 04 has one or two up coming wonderkid... Since we cant compete and make Aguero type of signings, we should sign wonderkids... Dybala is a very good move. I am extremely pleased.. drool.gif

By the way, apart from looking forward to more new signings and Dybala in action, I am also looking forward to the new Addidas jersey. Its the first time Juve is with Addidas! I am gonna buy one laugh.gif

Really awesome. Sami could actually make alot of BPL clubs turn from title pretenders to genuine title contenders... No, he cant dribble nor have explosive pace.. what he truly brings is balance. With him around, those stellar players whom can dribble, score and run fast can attack with freedom, with peace of mind that their defense will not concede a goal..

In footballing terms Arsenal would have needed him the most. You cant defend with Jack Wilshere, Aaron Ramsey or the aging Flamini could you? Wilshere and Ramsey are way better attacking.. So I say this signing is awesome for Juve. Even if he is coming in for rotation, man what a rotation guy laugh.gif thumbup.gif And he is free wink.gif

I hate body hugging kits as well... Like those Arsenal ones sweat.gif

Tevez is going off.... Really thank him for the time with us. Wonderful stuff. He was problematic at Man City, but at Juve, no such behaviour. Why? Because he respects the club, the players..he enjoyed himself. Juve has a culture..its a historic club. Only thing Man City got is a fatter walle.. tevez just cant take them seriously laugh.gif

All the best to Carlitos.. I bet he will now add Juve as his second favourite club behind Boca. Not bad.. for a so called trouble maker labled by the British tabloids and fanboys thumbup.gif

Manzukic is coming in.. This move kind of confuse me... How do we fit Dybala , Morata and Manzukic in a two striker formation? hmm.gif

A number 10 is a must.. in the mould of Mata, Goetze, Isco, Oscar, Silva... but all seems to be unrealistic targets though

QUOTE(noir7559 @ Jun 22 2015, 08:16 AM)
yes. considering Mandzukic physical nature he's the exact type of forward we need upfront. Tevez is not very tall but he's very strong for his
size. Morata also quite a strong player that's why he adapted to Italian football in 1 season only. We have witness the problem with small
non-physical player with Juve like Giovinco and Coman where they got brushed aside easily by Italian defenders

another stat for mandzukic is that i'd watched every Bayern UCL matches back in 2012/13 season, mandzukic is the type of 'Conte players'.
which mean he'll run up and down the pitch, so don't be surprised if we saw him defending corner/set pieces and a few seconds after that
he's already in opposition penalty box laugh.gif
*
I like this move very much as well. Hope he can do way better than our last Croat striker Alen Boksic back in 95 96

But I am really curious to know what is up Allegri's sleeve for next season. How can we play two big tall and physical number 9s together. Where will Dybala fit. For now I can only think of the Xmas tree formation

GK: Buffon
DL: Evra
DC: Bonucci
DC: Rugani / Chiellini / Bazagli ( I would like Rugani to have more games to be honest tongue.gif)
DR: A new RB is needed I feel. Lict is getting old. going 32.. his runs up and downs have gotten worse. His attacking ability abit below par this season. Lict should go to the bench
MC: Vidal / Khedira
MC: Marchisio / Khedira
MC: Pogba / Khedira
Second Striker: Dybala (Drop deep to create chances, run at players, play one twos)
Second Striker: Morata (Drop deep to create chances, run at players, play one twos, get into the box from deep) (For a big man he has surpringly a very good touch. CR7 type of touch, great pace, good passing)
Striker: Mandzukic (Close down opposing defenders, Win high balls, hold up play, bring Dybala and Morata into play, score goals)

Formation: 4-3-2-1. The Formation Milan used to win the 2007 CL laugh.gif

or this one?

----------------------Buffon-----------------------
--------Rugani----Bonucci----Chiellini--------
--------------------Marchisio----------------------
------------Khedira--Pogba--Vidal--------------
----------------------Dybala------------------------
------------Mandzukic----Morata----------------

the few reason Milan was successful back in 2007 was that they've a perfectly balance team

Nesta, Maldini provide a great partnership at the center of defense while Cafu and Jankulovski with a non stop run up and down
the pitch at their fullback position

Seedorf and Ambrosini were our version of Pogba & Marchisio while Pirlo with his usual Regista role. Gattuso as the destroyer type(Vidal)
and Kaka as the skillful linked between the midfield and attack(like what we expect Dybala to be)

while Inzaghi with his predatory instinct, positioning and finishing dat were 2nd to none
*
Its a fancy formation but not sure will it work in real life haha biggrin.gif

But similar like you, I really wish to see Rugani play more thumbup.gif

Today mark the last day of all these four lads at Juve. They probably not the most flashy and recognizable player out there but to us
Juventini they're all part of the team, esp 3 of em (Storari, Matri, Pepe are part of the Invincibles squad and major player in helping
the team ended 20-years Coppa Italia drought (too bad we couldn't see more of Romulo due to his long term injury but good luck in the future wherever u headed)  notworthy.gif

[attachmentid=4520743]

Among the 4 leaving as well as Pirlo and Tevez...The one that makes me sad are Storari and Pepe... Now no doubt they are just squad players.. but the amount of work they did behind the scenes will be sorely felt. Those behind the scenes are helping new players, ensuring squad morale stays high.... building up a la familia environment.. These are attributes money cant buy.... But of course at the end of the day we just cant pay them to be just morale officers...

All the best to Pirlo, Tevez, Matri, Romulo, but especially to Pepe and Storari! Like Fast 7 song... When I see you again sad.gif

buffon replacement??

No la... Dino Zoff , Edwin Van Der Sar, Ed De Goey all played till their 40s..Buffon was still world class in the recent UCL and Serie A and he is only 37. Noberto Neto is in to be the second choice... maybe a few years later he might step in...but not now la. I wouldnt take any BPL keeprs, Casillas or Marc Andre Ter Stegen over a 37 year old Buffon. Only GK that interests me is Manuel Nuer but whether he can be so so so consistently good to top class till his late 30s and maybe 40s remains to be seen.

that time wen 16yo huh?? messi was never gonna leave barc- edi. messi got his own issues resolved with barc- board before signing the pro-contract.
messi gotten help from barc- board when messi moved to spain at a very, very young age. messi will retire in barc- as a legend.

well, that messi. sorry for offtopic.
i doubt juve will let their midfield duo of vidal + pogba leave for any price. moratti has came out and said that publicly recently.
*
Yeah.. Vidal and Pogba will not be allowed to leave and neither do they have the heart to. And by the way it is not Moratti. Moratti is the former owner of Inter Milan.

What Juve has is Guiseppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici. Best scouting and transfer guru in Europe. Lets take a look at some of the famous transfer they pulled off and that the players went on to become key players for Juve:

- Andrea Bazagli - 300K Euros. Bazagli is consistently the best Centre Back for Juve for the past 4 years. Yes, he is not as famous as Chiellini but definitely better and more consistent than him. A rock at the back and one of Europe's best

- Leonardo Bonucci - 15.5Mil Euros. On current form, currently the best center back in Europe if not the world. A potential candidate for this year's UCL defender of the year. He is also currently linked with Real Madrid on a 35Mil Euro move. But he is not interested

- Patrice Evra - 1.5Mil pounds. For fans of BPL need I say more?

- Arturo Vidal - 10.5Mil Euros. Best box to box midfielder in the world. This is not his best season as he was plagued heavily by injuries. Currently along side his partner incrime Pogba the two most sort after midfielders in world football

- Paul Pogba - Free. Apart from some Man Utd fans, nobody even heard of Pogba or even took notice of his talents when the great Sir Alex decided to let him go. Most people think if the great Sir Alex is willing to let him go he surely is crap isint he? Nah, not according to Marotta and Paratici. Pogba is a subject of a 100mil Euro bid now. wink.gif

- Carlos Tevez - 12Mil pounds. When the whole of Europe labeled him a fuck up player with a fuck up attitude Marotta and Paratici believed in him. What he did for Juve need I say more. Similarly like when he was at Man Utd Carlos at Juve did not cause Juve a single problem. In fact he became a leader a fighter a warrior. All the best to him now that he is back to his childhood club thumbup.gif notworthy.gif

- Sami Khedira - Free. A CL winner, a WC winner... one of europe's finest midfield enforcer. Real wanted to renew him as he still has a big part to play after being plagued so much by injuries last season. Easily worth 20 to 30mil Euros player.

- Andrea Pirlo - Free. Two time CL winner, 1 time wc winner. Came as Milan legend and now leaving as a Juve legend as well. And on top of that he is Italy's legend and also a legend of world football. Need we say more. Age is catching up with him, all the best if he decides to go to NYFC. He will be missed by all football fans notworthy.gif

There ya go. wink.gif

*
Could be.. maybe he does deserve some credit. But bare in mind that in Italy and Spain things are different than in Germany and England. In Italy and Spain the manager just coaches...all transfers are handled by director of football or transfer guru....Managers dont get absolute power like Fergie and Wenger for all transfers right down to the kit man.. wink.gif

i would like to add both Vucinic and Lichsteiner too. Bcoz back in 2011-2012 i'd considered four of em the revolution signing a.k.a the Four Horseman (Pirlo,Vidal,Lich,Vuci)
who all played a key role to turn Juve from a mediocre side of 2009-2011 to the team we all knew now
