you can start immediately by practicing at the wall,. Believe me, it is very effective. I have not played for so long ( previously stop for 11 years then play for 6 month, then latest stop for 3 years ), I was suprised I can keep alot of my balls on the table last Saturday. I just practice on the wall and table all these time. who can giv me express training... T_T
pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls pls help... =(
1. How to play on the wall ?
Practice Top spin, stand about 7-8 feet away from the wall, hit ball down to the floor ( like top spin to the floor ) then let it bounce to the wall and the wall will bounce the ball to you, then you hit down the floor again like top spin... continue until you beat the wall
Practice Bottom spin, stand nearer to the all about 2 feet away without bouncing on the floor, hit ball to the wall, let ball bounce on the wall dont let ball fall on the floor, you hit back to the wall. Repeat the same. You can do that for both forehand and backhand.
2.How to play on the table ?
Practice Brush Loop. Put ball on table, use use the your bat brush ball on top let it roll off its position and you catch the ball with your hand when it roll off ( if you have alot of balls, you can have a basket to collect at the edge of the table ) and repeat the same for both forehand and back hand.
Do that while you look for a place to practice your ping pong.
Good luck to you
btw. are u joining the PP4M tournament, they have it on 1 May also. I have to pull out of that tournament due to some family matters.
