By the way, how to become a member ? thanks QUOTE(chernloon @ Jan 14 2011, 02:14 AM) The address of Union is : 29-1, 3rd Floor, Jalan 20/13, Paramount Garden. here i attach the google map direction from taman paramount lrt station to union club. its about 5 minutes walking distance only. From the lrt station, you can directly walk to Jalan 20/22. Its nearer than the route shown in the map. There's a barber shop at the point B in the map. Union is at the 3rd floor. p/s : yeoh, if cant find it, just give me a call ![]() |

QUOTE(K2002 @ Jan 16 2011, 10:34 AM) Is ok next time go and play. last week saksoba also last minute cannot make it due to work. I never played with chernloon or the Union Club before, hopefully one of these days I can go there and have some games with you people this the third time i been there to play at Union club. Chern loon and Nelson improve alot. Lot more than i expected. Too far the level now. cannot even get a single set from you guys. Keep up the good training. Within 1 and half years really improve a lot. Lots of training really pays off. Nice seeing you guys again. Is been long time. If i can go there three days a week then i can train with you guys. but unfortunately i stay at cheras. very far away from paramount. See you guys next time. K2002, I think I am far more worse than you. I have decided to slow down myself even further, I changed backhand rubber with pimples. Anyway, good to see a lot of people are improving. I think if I play now, I sure kena teruk. |

I still have one unopened/uncut Black Gambler Outlaw 2.2mm with me ( last time I bought 2 pcs ). If you are planing to buy, you might want to consider buying mine. I can sell it to you cheap because I wont be using it anymore. I use black on my backhand, which is now a Palio WP1013 ( medium pimple rubber ).
Last time, I use gambler outlaw on my backhand while my forehand is Bryce speed ( before that, I use Bryce FH, Bryce BH ). There is some similarity between Outlaw and Bryce, low throw angle, good for blocking and driving. I use Outlaw on my backhand because Bryce was becoming too expensive, cannot afford BH and FH Bryce. Only recently, I decide to switch my backhand to medium pimple, I am getting lazy nowadays I am currently using Butterfly Kong Ling Hui Special blade with FH=Red Bryce Speed 2.1 and BH=Black Palio WP1013 QUOTE(il0ve51 @ Jan 22 2011, 06:18 PM) gambler outlaw link>> http://www.presports.com/gambler-outlaw-rubber-p-1611.html This post has been edited by tsd: Jan 24 2011, 05:32 PMhttp://www.tabletennisdb.com/rubber/gambler-outlaw.html people say gambler outlaw is bryce clon.. btw my 1st bat was primorac carbon + bryce + hammond.. if possible anyone know hammond's replacement? my friend are using hurricane 3 provincial, i try it to flick, the result is way loose to my donic jo coppa platin soft... so far it is the best rubber to flick on what i try, the down point is it is not durable and expensive. |

I have not played for a long long time already. This EJ habbit are very hard to kick. QUOTE(pingpang @ Feb 25 2011, 06:31 PM) Hi Fazrul, Not an otai lah. Just an "ayam" onli. Got a couple of friends that I met over from pp4m - aliens, gg, ezreen, blackdragon etc. My knowledge comes from reading (over the internet) and other forums like pp4m (M'sia), mytabletennis.com (Canada), ooak (Australia) etc. Was an EJ (equipment junkie) about one year earlier with many blades and rubbers but sold and given away most of it. Now have 5 blades (one HS, 2 J-pen, 2-cpen). That time, even the "bola" pun pakai macam-macam brand - ikan kembar, dhs, butterfly, nittaku (2 types - japan & premium), andro, joola, tibhar, sunflex and 2 or 3 other made in china "no brand" balls. Have a good weekend. Just join back last week and really rusty with my shots. If you are free, do join us. Terry also was not feeling too well since CNY (maybe the food or the weather) and is still recovering. |

QUOTE(pingpang @ Mar 2 2011, 03:31 PM) Wah! New bat. When are you free to try it out? What brand and set-up (rubber combination) Come out and stroke lah, tsd. I am downgrading myself again... in the past I use Butterfly Sardius blade with speed glued rubber ( I was a very aggressive attacker when I was young ), because of cerear, I stop playing for more than 12 years... When I make a come back after 12 years break, I have a lot of trouble with my Sardius, so I switch softer and slower offensive blade, Butterfly Kong Ling Hui Special ( KLHS ) blade with Bryce Speed on both sides. Unfortunately still cannot cope. So now, I slow it down further to with a softer China made Blade with Inspirit Quattro on the forehand and Palio WP1013 pimples on the backhand. This blade is quite similar to KLHS blade ( both have two aramid/carbon inner layers ). The difference is that, KLHS is using Hinoki wood for top play while this China made blade uses Ayous wood for top ply ( Ayous wood is softer than Hinoki wood ). Hopefully this will be my final setup... I am now selling off my KLHS blade because I cant use it with pimples, it becomes too light. With normal rubber on both side KLHS weighs around around 175g ( just nice ), but with one side pimple it weighs only 162g... too light for my likings. My sales topic is on another forum. http://www.pp4m.com/v2/distribution/viewto...php?f=13&t=2876 |

Maybe you might want to consider buying my second hand Kong Ling Hui Special blade. Still in very good condition and less than 2 years old. I offer you RM180, if you want to nego further, PM me.
You can do anything with this blade... Good for controlled game and also for powerful attacking game. This blade is quite light, so any rubber will suit, except for spongless pimples... it might be too light ( that is the reason why I am selling it, switch to a heavier blade ). QUOTE(sekinnie @ Mar 8 2011, 08:44 PM) guys, I'm wanted to grab a new bat for my game. Currently using Butterfly Yuki II and I'm thinking of grabbing this one http://www.presports.com/butterfly-vsg-twi...e-off-p-94.html but the problem is, i've no idea what sort of rubber to use, i like to play offence and sometimes, i like to throw some spinners. Anyone can suggest? is the bat ok? what type of rubber? |

QUOTE(Steven_aka_G @ Apr 1 2011, 11:55 PM) There are many... one that I have used recently is Dawei Inspirit Ultra Light, behaves almost like Sriver. Friendship also have few rubber that behave like Sriver, if I can remember correctly one of them is callled Higher. Most of them will cost you below RM50. There are many others as well. |

hey, I am joining this table tennis tournament. Very intersting tournament.
Anyone also can join without worrying about being trashed, even beginners. If you are an above average player there is also no guarentee that you will have an easy time even when playing against weaker players. http://www.pp4m.com/v2/distribution/viewto...2542&start=1170 its on the next Saturday 23 / 04 / 2011, 5pm onwards... QUOTE(Steven_aka_G @ Apr 15 2011, 10:25 PM) still got 1 week to train Worse of all, I just changed my entire bat setup 2 weeks ago... last time I used Butterfly Kong Lin Hui Special with Butterfly Bryce Speed on both sides, my new setup is a Galaxy V15 blade with medium tacky rubber ( Red Diamond ) and a Palio Pimple rubber at the backhand. This setup is totally different from what I have last time with a huge difference in playing characteristic... I only hope I will be able to cope with it. |

The competition topic has been updated, now with location map and also past results in the first 2 pages.
http://www.pp4m.com/v2/distribution/viewto...&t=3196#p105625 Good thing about this game is that, even though u are a beginner.. you dont have to worry being trashed. Because this game is based on handicap system where weaker players are given points before start of game. For advanced player also good because when you meet weaker players you have to work harder to avoid losing as well. Weaker players and Advanced player have equal chance to win.. even the tournament itself. If you see from past results, alot of beginners did quite well in the competitions. QUOTE(deadevil @ Apr 20 2011, 04:04 AM) It looks so complicated about the rules n regulation~ Dont worry about 1/2 year never touch blade, just come and join the fun. I am worse than you.. I stop playing from 1994 until 2004 ( stop for 9-10 years )... then played actively again from 2004 to 2005... but stop again in 2006. I have not been actively playing since 2006 ( another 4-5 years did not play ).i'm intrested with this tournament and i'm from klang as well..... Almost 1/2 year never touch my blade dy~ when is the closing date ? For the past few years, once a while I do join people for friendly games ( less than 10 times, max 2-3 hours each ). Even for this tournament I have zero real game practice. I only practice on my house walls, I am quite good with the walls I guess the closing date will be on the tournament day itself. if you are interested better sms the organizer or reply on the topic fast because there are limit on how many people can join, normally it will be full before the tournament day. |
