Rendering a 4K clip out takes 4 hours plus lol. With VFX you're looking at 6 and more. Of course depending on the codecs you're using. I almost never render 4K on my MacBook 12" now. 1080p you can get by no problem. 4K ggwp hahaha.

i think battery health for this 12' macbook degrading too fast

mine already 92% after 12 cycle

Saw other people complained on the same thing also. Some of them health are already 80+%. Is it a flaw or bug for the 1st gen retina MacBook?

Hopefully the 2nd gen that I am buying will come with many surprises.

im waiting it go less than 80% and hopefully before warranty expired, i will ask apple to change my battery

ya, better still. so guess u need to drain the battery often to increase the cycles so it can reach that before warranty expires.

1st gen product indeed seems to have more problem. Guess 2nd gen should be pretty much perfect by then.

wah. ic. then unlikely can claim battery before warranty expired i guess.

i guess maybe it is more towards firmware bug etc?

i really regret too slow make my decision to buy this configure upgrade with edu price at RM5399 b4 apple rise it price to almost 8k. But anyway im satisfied with my base spec at RM4769

Any slow issues or hang? Since I used MacBook Pro 2011, i7 quad core.... Now this upgraded MacBook for me, not really much different yet, did. I did not really use any heavy apps on it yet rclxms.gif

This is my 1st mac, so far so good on performance coz my daily task on ms office only, please check ur battery health with apps like battery health or coconutbattery to check ur battery health status. This is worldwide issues on this macbook- degrading too fast

rumours said something event on this jan 2016, hopefully macbook on there if not u need to wait until jun 2016 for new update
