Is your mistake to keep your savings account > rm5.
I always keep my savings account at rm5 only. So if were to select wrongly, I can't make any payment.
Also, using stupid device's apps to pay bills are quite risky, especially when the screen are dirty, like in keyboard, when you want to type "r", it may go to "e" due to sensitivity issues.

lol. I thought got some charges if savings acc less than rm20

Some more if accidentally press the home button on the phone, the whole process needs to redo again. Sometimes doesn't know whether the first payment attempt went through or not.

for me, mbb app still ok. cimb app cannot touch anything else after log in. once you shift from cimb app, will need to re-log in again.

don't waste the 7 cents interest. quickly transfer rm1 to this account from your other mbb account, then transfer back rm1.07 from this account to that account. always maintain rm1 can already. lol...

Well, that's why I never ever bother to rely on stupid devices to do payments.
Going back on old school way sure will be the safest icon_rolleyes.gif
Don't forget, stupid devices got hacked topped the statistics now. So I won't take any risk.

Yes, no doubt internet banking allows fast access but im referring to MBB Apps access via mobile. I'm still not confidence with the app's security, specially Android.

I agree with you that android app security is in doubt.

But M2U app in itself also implemented counter security features such as SMS authorization for transfer of funds outside of 'fav accounts'. Same goes bill payments.

Notifications on funds/payments also allows you to be aware of what had transpired in your m2u funds.

I am quite at ease though.

just do not use the apps when you connecting to public wifi..
hacker will sniff through the network and might be able to get your login password and TAC as well..

Not really, any transaction to be done will required TAC.
And to make your account more safe, savings account should have minimum amount of money.

TAC system will totally nullify any sniffers. Not that anyone 'sniffs' a trojan....

No matter what you will require TAC for the transaction, which must come by SMS. and SMS handling in Android is limited to only one app, hence not possible to override the SMS before user sees it. At the very worst case (hijack of SMS delivery to forward a TAC automatically, which should not be possible if not rooted) user will still see the TAC request.

Well, as said, stupid devices being hacked for fraud case topped the pyramid currently shocking.gif
They have the ways to do it without owner's knowledge. There are also few movies showing on how people hack other's stupid devices and what can be done sweat.gif
Prevention always better than cure.
