notice that from the website u28 allow add rm10 for subline, but the subline will not able to share the data  / call / sms for u28 package? as for p50 it allow to share all ?

one of my xpax going to expire soon next month, wondering can this xpax still extend the validity to 2 years or not as this line is not using but just want to keep the number.
*
if you did not convert it to the new magic sim package then you should be able to continue, send the sms to extend 1 year / 2 year validity. I just did mine last year and will expire 2017

HELP. so i went to umobile centre today to switch from celcom to umobile and the person asked me to wait for an SMS. when the SMS finally arrived, it says my porting request is denied. according to umobile website, there are 4 reasons why this happened but how do i know which one is it?

for overdue payments, does it mean i have to finish all my remaining celcom credit? i'm using prepaid and i still have 10 ringgit left.

i'm so confused and umobile call centre is asking me to press so many buttons.  cry.gif kindly advice.
*
if you opt from prepaid to postpaid from the same provider usually they can take that prepaid balance as you monthly payment, but from different provider I hardly think so

10am-10pm is the operating hour for UM Facebook messaging and it's daily including weekend and public holidays. As a comparison, DiGi provide 9am-6pm Mon-Fri only.

These timeframes are nothing to do with helpline, which is 24 hours operation.

Plus Digi hardly response to any twitter msg, while umobile does

can't see what issue. everything very clear
only take note that first bill comes together with 1 month deposit like Unifi.
IT IS DEPOSIT, i have no idea why the Term is Advance payment, as the advance payment is shown no where but store inside ur account as a deposit, i always explain it as a deposit to make it clear.
*
What is SR?? How many months deposit is required? If deposit or advance payment it will be the same as your monthly subscription right? If you subscribed U28, then the deposit / advance payment should be RM28+GST

So first month should include
Advance - RM28+GST
Prorate -number of days - let say sample RM14+GST
Full month - RM28+GST

Total should be estimate - RM70+GST

1 month prorate

example u subscribe today
1st bill=

today till 30april, =  22/30 * 28  + 1 month deposit RM 28 + itemized bill RM 3 (default selected, need to call to cancel) + 6% gst + RM 10 1 time off stamp duty
total RM 64.63
*
hi

but we can straight way opt for itemised E-bill from the first month right? so should be able to get rebate for the RM3?

Guys

I am planning to try out Umobile Prepaid before proceeding with my MNP. I must say after studying about the prepaid packages (I assume my understanding i correct), I am quite impress with the option.

However I just need to understand, if I buy Stater pack that going to cost me RM8.50. Then I want to choose for UMI20, I need to purchase them from Umobile App right? What happen if I just simply pirchase topup RM20 from Lazada? Will that still be UMI20?

Thank you

You can buy credit top up from anywhere you want. After that you can buy UMI with your handphone using USSD (*118#), sms to 28118 or via the U Mobile app.
*
Ooohh..Let say for example somehow after purchase top up of RM20, then with my new balance of RM32 (RM12+RM20 new topup), I can also simply change to UMI30 too?

yes

all these UMI is actually optional add-on to the basic prepaid plan

and don't forget you'll get free 1gb fast data once you make initial top up of RM10 or more... so you could use up the free data before buying UMI
*
ooh need to do the RM10 first in order to get it, if straightaway topup rm20 cannot get the offer?

Happy with my U28.  Internet is spotty, for example at my office cubicle, shows H+ with 3 bars (I turned off 4G), but data is intermittent, it's obvious when streaming music or playing online games.  Walk somewhere 5-feet away and it's good.  Location is Pudu KL.

Another annoyance is that U-Mobile cannot send SMS to shortcodes like 33188 or 62002, so have problems activating credit cards, checking Samsung warranty, etc.

Any trick to send to shortcodes?  Any feature to turn on or whatever?
*
Hi

What other shortcodes that Umobile is having problem to?? Is it just to send or to receive as well?

Hi.  I've tried sending to 33188 and 62002.  It will simply fail to send.  Receiving is not a problem at all.
*
since you mentioned it just remember a friend of mine told me about this when she tried to purchase astro best package. My concern would be more on banking/cc online transaction issue

It has passed 24 hours on my first try of Umobile Prepaid. I have few questions

What happen if we top up RM30 but never subscribe to any UMI or voice plan? What is call rates like? What is the major difference?
