From my understanding of Umobile prepaid package would be as follows

UMI20
20+ 20CF minutes calls (40 minutes)
1gb (after topup on 30days cycle) +500mb+1gb data (under UMI20 package)
3sen/SMS

Let say balance is 20, then subscribe UMI20, then balance 0, so no SMS can be sent?

And the 1gb data after topup 30 days cycle can be different than the 1.5gb data from UMI20 30 days cycle?

free slow 2gb - calendar month

this would be the same as other providers throttle speed once you finished your quota...wonder what happen if this quota also finish

truth is...i don't think my initial highspeed also can finish..eh but the slow data can stream radio wooo!!

maxis postpaid - rm0.20/m
celcom postpaid - RM0.30/m

but yesterday i simply tried to call a 1 300 and my balance got deducted

27 sec - 0.40
9 sec - 0.20


does anyone aware?

i am planning to port maxis postpaid to umobile prepaid...even that from what I was informed is possible...can't wait

I am no expert...trial number not even 1 week yet

btw, i thought the Maxis World got no charge anymore??

ooh like that...i thought sudah one world no more RM38/day. I don't bother much about it coz going oversea can calculate with jari la for me....LOL!!

After your reply the other day now i am wondering, after day 9, can I call 1 300 with the RM4.40 balance

Bought my umobile prepaid trial last week, using it for a week in few areas namely bangi, kajang, nilai and putrajaya...coverage acceptable with most LTE areas

just submitted port out request from my surfmore50 to umobile prepaid since in love with the packages offered

No...surfmore50 only...not their selected customer....and i know few friends recently ported out like 2 weeks ago that maxis never try to offer anything. i guess they really confident that cust will come back later once they announce their new package, personally to me, they have to beat this umobile prepaid package for that, at least for me...but i guess they won't bother la

feel so relief so far...and since I know prepaid having lots of discount when you buy topup online

several weeks back lazada having promo of 20% off if you buy top up RM10, RM30 or RM50.

2 weeks and 1 week ago lazada giving 5% disc for certain credit card holder (which I have the card). Using the same card I am getting another 5% disc for online purchase. So without 6% GST, why should I not using prepaid??

I usally just top up a lil bit here and there whenever there's disc. I left the amount sometimes accumulated so I can purchase different UMI package whenever i see fit

This started thanks to 11street.my. Lazada never have mobile topup before. But since 11st ownership is celcom, hence usually only xpax having special additional promo, while other providers only get 4% credit (not a direct disc), but xpax probably getting 5% / 10% direct disc.

Another thing I forget, if you use lazada you may get additional 9% disc from shopback. You may register under me so we both will get addtional RM5

i have yet to reach that. But I just got an sms about topping up by 21st in order to get additional 30% credit. Err...so I might do another top up before my line reach passive status

Let just hope lazada will come up with another discount before the promo ended

my passive status will starts on the 22nd, I expected to topup latest by 21st 11.59pm

but the balance as you said will not be shown in the app, so we have to call CS to check on the balance? But how or rather when this additional credit will be utilised since we have allocated minutes + 15 minutes U to U daily

Let say I topup RM30...and then I got RM9 credit (30% of RM30)

My actual balance left after deduct RM38 for UMI38 is for example RM5

So when I make a 1-300 calls, will it deduct RM9 or RM3?

ANd let say I call a fixed line number , will it deduct

1) Allocated minutes or RM9?
