I got the speed but not the stability. Sometimes the connection dropped to 0 for few seconds. So i really hope that lte 4g or 21mbps can solve the unstability.

I also suspect that my dongle may be overheated during that time.

Actually I was asking whether the 2GB is offpeak or all day?

Also whether this offer is permanent for all customer or only for new/MNP customer.

And final question whether prepaid can transfer credit to other prepaid user.

Thanks CnY Garage

yes, enjoy 3GB forever

and still they give you free youtube data from 2am-8am

free calls and sms

this is even cheaper than UMI48 / UMI50

I switched back to umobile from celcom. Always preferred umobile

Hi sifus. Would be great if anyone can tell me if i can keep my current umobile prepaid number if i port to this current u28 postpaid plan (3gb).

Also would like to know if there is a contract period for this postpaid plan.

Finally, does this u28 plan support 4g lte?

Thanks for reading and any reply would be greatly appreciated. biggrin.gif

hi sifus,
I currently using Maxis. Maxis 3g coverage still ok in my area. Thinking of mnp to U mobile to save some cost. Since U mobile using maxis 3G line, will I receive the 3G signal strength same as maxis?

Currently I'm on prepaid UMI

What is the total I need to pay for U28?
1. Advanced / One time off
2. Monthly . I assumed it's Rm28 + 6% GST. Any other thing like paper bill / Itemized / etc.?
3. Can I do it with you with out going to your shop?

U Mobile uses its own network unless there is no U Mobile coverage then it roams to Maxis' network but then there's a catch as Maxis only allows U Mobile to roam at about 1,300+ network tower for 3G which I suspect these are also located at areas where it is underutilized, other towers are 2G only which I guess for congested areas, Maxis will only allow 2G.

In short, Maxis allows U Mobile to roam-in for:
2G = Nationwide
3G = At selected 1,300+ network towers
