got any idea what are the LED status like when I am charging the xiaoyi? when I plug in it doesn't seem to be charging..

i just finished copy pasting script from yimax movie, combine here and there,
i set it for my dashcam micro sd card.
pecah kepala cos i really dunno programming
-35mbps at 1080p60
-30mbps at 1080p30
-removes water color like and follow yimax pro color settings
-auto record when power on..

Do u all uses uv filter? I have one 37mm filter but I can't chooses my lens to wide cz it will see the side 4 corners of the filter. Anyone encounter this?

Just bought black one the international version with in mind thinking this could replace my poor redmi note 3 camera. But apparently its not so good indoor. I could swear that I saw somewhere on youtube that the macro focus on this pretty acceptable but I think its not quite good. Image quality also not what I've been hoping for.



Any takers if I want to let this go. Only used once to capture this and put it back into box again.

Hm. My camera is 22L series, so dun have ir filter..
Mau tukar, sudah order lens from gopro hero 2/3, not sure whether it comes with ir filter or not, or does the fov change alot gopro lens is 170 degree, while yi is 150 degree..

U sure u download HD, not SD?

U need to take more than arm lenght distance subject..
Any nearer than that require lens focus adjustment

I bought Xiaoyi few months ago from DirectD.
- Xiaoyi sports camera
- Selfie stick with bluetooth remote
- Waterproof casing
It cost me RM447 with shipping fee. Bought the microSD seperately.

My humble opinion about this camera as follow:
- Good in day light, struggling in low light area.
- Images produced is brilliant but the colour is a bit dull.
- Able to shoot in various mode.
- Super wide lens.
- FullHD 60fps doesn't have smooth fps. So for casual video shooting, you might want consider 30fps.
- Sometimes, i am struggling to connect to its gallery via Yi Action app.

For those who wanted to buy this, don't expect it to be like a GoPro. This device is good enough for casual user.
I am pretty much satisfied of its quality with the price that I paid. Looking forward to buy its accessories.

I'm trying to find red filter for underwater photography. Most filter I see in Lazada are not for kingma Yi water proof casing that I have. Most are for goPro. Some for SJ. May I know how to know if any of those are compatible with my casing?
