Heh, true. But since they in mobile computing I always assume they prefer mobility. Haha

Most designer who work for someone dun need to move around. N laptop tat can handle workload of a designer too expensive.. way cheaper to get a PC..

Unless he is boss or sales type.. need show ppl... then the laptop make sense

Btw, thermal pad or thermal paste good for laptop? Heard thermal paste us useless for laptop while thermal pad better? HP and lenovo laptop good for precision and moving laptop while acer and asus will get problem easily on laptop if we are very mobile. My toshiba fell then the hard disk suddenly rosak

From years back from what i heard, thermal pad is usually for the GPU while thermal paste for the CPU. Pad last longer then paste. But paste is more than enough.

Acer i heard has QC problem (From what i heard.)

Hard disk is prone to damage if it is drop because of the moving parts. That is why if you have $$ get SSD more resilient.
*
Acer HDD cannot format more than twice I heard from the salesman.. gg after tat de

erm, why  hmm.gif  any reasons? but compare to ROG (service after sales is sucks) and overprice MSI, still Illegear is ok. unless you want to get alienware, but AW is kinda, bad specs. not high enough compare ROG, MSI and Illegear. Lenovo is cheaper, quite worth to spend too
*
Aw is just OP if buy from dell la... haha... premium brand ma

Tat y need PPL like me n putochip to bring u guys discounted aw.. haha

Hi all~

1. Preferred brand: Any, except Acer and Illegear (due to certain reasons i have to forget Illegear, i now its a good choice  sweat.gif  )
2. Budget - Around 5k and below, aimed for 4.5k(+/-) to allow extra for upgrade RAM or SSD, its optional tought, maybe no need too.
3. Usage - autocad, 3d modeling/rendering (works), high gaming sometimes
4. Preferred screen size - 15+ or 17+

i have planned to purchase MSI GE72-2QD (RM4.599) and now included GST already become RM5,199 !! that already created some dilemma to my pocket, therefor have to seek for other options.  i have looking for GTX960m laptop on other brand yet  only know MSI have them with my budgeted price, and Illegear too.

Up to date option, older MSI (GE70) or Asus ROG or Lenovo Y50....

Thanks in advance
*
Make up Ur mind.. rendering or gaming... precision m2800 n m3800 fHD around 4700.. but only medium low setting for game
