i really wonder why are you giving recommendations when you clearly do not know what you are talking about   doh.gif
clearly most of your post are just for your self gain of selling your own products  sweat.gif

1. the only fanless design around is the M-series. Vostro do have fans and the new 14nm proc is even better in heat management
2. the intel M-series they are talking about is the new fanless one and it is successor for the Y-series (http://blog.laptopmag.com/intel-core-m-details)

ps: note the prefix vs suffix of the 'M'.
*
I m talking bout the multitasking only...or along the way we mix up core m n Pentium M...

I see. I totally forgot about the 32 bit and 64 bit thingy. LOL, thanks for bringing it up. Will be doing some reading on the 32 bit and 64 bit. But isn't 64 bit better than 32 bits in term of performance (RAM performance, 64 bit, able to access more RAM).
*
I thought most come wif 64bits now? I only see window 8.1 single language (32bits) other all 64bits.. n wat the actual difference? Smoother?

Per our built-in battery statistic, it wears off very slowly comparing to detachable battery even if you charge it all the time. Our Z5 users usually get 1 to 2% wear off from the built-in battery a month, so I guess your statement is right.
*
Yes... alot PPL dunno the latest ion charge battery last longer if they keep the battery above 50%

1. Preferred Brand - Apple, Asus. (other brands are welcomed though)
2. Budget - RM2500-RM5000
3. Usage - main:college purpose. all purpose such as occasional media edit, casual gaming, and entertainment.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - 13 is just sweet. wouldnt mind a wider screen.

+ light, slim. sleek design. easy to carry.
+ latest processors
+ long hour juice
+ SSD, 8GB Ram,
+ Multiple windows and task, still work smoothly.

I'm not a gamer, so please no suggestions on that categories. Afraid the machine would be under-utilised under my care.
I know I may ask a miracle, but anywhere close to that, I'll consider.

If you can add a review, would gladly appreciate it.  smile.gif

Can say XPS 15 the all rounder laptop. Powerful specs with sleek design and etc while the Asus zenbook is used mainly for basic usage such as browsing, word processing and etc.

Though the mass for XPS 15 is around 2KG++ while the Zenbook would be significantly lighter.

xps u just change to ssd i would be around 2kg... same casing as precision m3800
