I think GE62 and GE72 quite good lo.. Someone posted benchmark and the cooling ad.. 70 degree + when full load.. Very good tho.

GE62 and GE72 no overheat issue also. The thermal management is quite good actually. Don't give up the whole forest just because of a tree

Well with your requirement. You would be getting gaming grade laptops even though you don't seem to be gaming nonetheless you can't go wrong with it. (CPU at least 2.4 GHz).

As for reliability, illegear and dell have the good after sales service while Asus is the worst. All of them the cooling system is good except the Asus if i remember correctly (Acer need to do some tweaking).

illegear z5 too eye catching, I dont want people to target my lappy.
I think 17.3" screen too long for my bag.
Will avoid Asus and Acer then. I use lappy for long period, and run lots of program, heavy user, definitely will be very very hot.

By comparing illegear Q5 with MSI with Lenovo with Dell XPS15 which is best?

Forgot to mention. The illegear wont charge GST until June (If i remember correctly). So, if you can. Go to the illegear thread and book one to avoid the additional charge if you have made up your mind.

among all those.. i will choose illegear. Erm, previously know as Clevo (from Taiwan). not so sure from where is their origin. but previously thy knwn as clevo. thats all    they focus on high-end gaming notebook.

sager not sure from where, but its related with clevo if not mistaken.. gigabyte also taiwan. . aftershock is singapore custom gaming notebook.  the most i never heard is Origin brand. totally no idea.  Auros too.

listed there also T450.. else, myway1985 suggestion also good. xps 15. its up to your choice..    battery life is big matter. if its too big.. xps 13 also another contender 

sure.. why not. its aluminium exterior which similar to the MacBook Air in sheen and durability. the only matters is xps 13 doesnt have Ethernet port  but, nowadays, people all using wifi transmitter which will helps a lot.

Mainly office/browsing use, video/movies.

My budget is at RM3k
I use my laptop to do some programming(edit GUI and coding), normal gaming(Dota 2 or other normal settings games), watching full HD movies surfing net and others…and I need a nice full HD screen if possible, but the biggest screen I can go for is 15.6 inch I guess...haha

ya, from mid end to high end. Wouldnt really want a high end straight.

Could get a mid end then upgrade it. If that way is better.

So the choices left are MSI GE60, MSI GE62, Illegear Q5.
Will look about it.

The lenovo T440P and dell latitude is only 14". Preferably 15" and above, below 17", considering my laptop bag size is small.

Dell XPS15 is good, but it over budget already, 5K and below only.
It offer i5 too, should I stick with i7 since I always complain computers are slow?
