There is nothing wrong with it.

It can play smoothly but with reduce settings and resolution. As pandera999 has said if you can get the 960m then go for it.

#remaining money can upgrade ram. u might wan save a bit

anyhow, you can do research for those model first. see which 1 suite you. please consider if you need it portable enough or not. maybe you had to travel somewhere quite often. then 15" might be not suitable.

if you found other notebook that have display 1920x1080 (1080p) then its FHD. others only HD/HD+ unless 13" there is FHD+IPS but too small i guess... cz handling excell will be hard a bit

reliable labtop is the all I want.

ati nowdays not good as those days... well if you want avoid it. get intel with integrated gpu (HD 4600 series for example). but if its just a graphic card ati.. its ok.. better than using ati processor..

i7 U series still dual core. just its single core speed kinda fast compare to i5 and i3.. ULV is for better power consumption and computing using battery will last longer.. so no need bother much about want plug here and there for at least 3 hours

you might want consider this 14" dell... better graphic card than what asus have. remaining money increase ram to 8gb (2x4gb) or 16gb (2x8gb)

U wan use dual core for excel? How heavy is ur file lIke?

payroll and some stock file..
multiple file will be open at 1 time.
and also publisher..

im try to looking for quad core laptop..

then u no need FHD mostly dual core will.. more core doesnt mean all those core will be useable while we do computing.. excel stuff and lots of other computing.

For instance, a dual core processor may have base clock speeds of 3.5 GHz for each processor while a quad core processor may only run at 3.0GHz. Just looking at a single core on each of them, the dual core processor will be able to about fourteen percent faster than on the quad core. Thus, if you have a program that is only single threaded, the dual core processor is actually better. Then again, if you have something that can use all four processors such as video transcoding, then the quad core processor will actually be about seventy percent faster than that dual core processor.

For the most part, having a higher core count processor is generally a good thing but it is a very complicated matter. For the most part, a dual core or quad core processor is going to be more than enough power for a basic computer user. The majority of consumers will see no tangible benefits from going beyond four processor cores currently as there is so little software that can take advantage of it.The only people that should consider such high core count processors are those going tasks such as desktop video editing or complicated science and math programs.
