14" is standard size... the size is jz right..and easy to carry around too.. suitable in most bagpack out there... want include side keyboard.. then 15" will do..

pick dell for good onsite warranty, Zenbook for premium build quality(not suitable for games). if can wait.. can purchase during raya discount.. might be cheaper

laptop fan can refuse to sell.. but laptop bag if not mistaken is compulsory to give..  even the customer refuse get free gift. cz the laptop bag is package with da laptop itself.

  aik.. every purchase of notebook.. comes with free Bag.. which is the brand itself.. stock bag..  cz, last time.. the seller tell me those.. the bag comes with the notebook. even customer doesnt want the free gift and indeed reduce the price.. but bag.. is compulsory..

Is it recommended? Or is there any other laptop that is under 2k that is good?
I also notice that this laptop doesnt have optical drive slot for cd.

Hmm, looking for a new laptop since my ancient Acer Aspire LCD screen died after 6 years, RIP. Will probably buy next month.

1. Preferred Brand: Prioritize reliability... can last ~5 years.
2. Budget: 2000, upwards to 2200 max
3. Usage: Work (priority), some gaming (mostly Sid Meier games, some Visual Novels, maybe some indie games like Transistor, etc, nothing huge like GTAV, etc)
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: 14 inches and higher

My old laptop was an i3 with Intel Integrated HD 2000, so probably ANYTHING will be a huge upgrade... but hey, I managed to play Borderlands 2 with it ^^;;

Guys, is ASUS ROG GL551JW a new laptop? I don't see any store selling it yet. I'm in a pinch right now as I'm looking for a budget gamming laptop that's below RM4k (Or lower than 4k) and ive found ASUS ROG GL552JW vs GL551JW. I'm mainly using it for college uses but im also a gamer so I prefer something powerful and LIGHT WEIGHT for convenience.

But the specs not bad leh GTX960m within RM4k

If me, i would pick at least i5 + gt840m for budget gaming laptop. Price slightly above 2k.

Hi guys, im helping my brother for a new laptop for study university. He can use either mac osx or windows so i add apple to preferred brand but dunno is it worth for tat price. And pls recommend a laptop that strong in battery life cuz long time outside.
