As for processor and RAM, the Core M processor is on par with laptop i3 and i5 U models so for normal usage it is fine. As for RAM standard (For me anyways) is 8Gb as of now. 4Gb is sufficient but if you are the kind who likes to open multiple tabs and programs then the more RAM is better.

I heard window 7 driver is more stable than window 8 but not sure. In the end free upgrade to windows 10 anyways.

I'm using a touchscreen 15 inch laptop and it helps on the days when i forgot to bring my mouse along. Touchpad not so use to it.

MSI GE60 2QD Apache
Asus GL551JM

Aside the price, which has better overall performance (design, specs)? Cause if it can last for a few years, I would like to buy that

4. 14inch or 15inch (max)

I did some finding and currently deciding to go for Asus K401lb model. But looking through the forum, alot people recommend Dell Inspiron 7447 as one of the contender to the model.

But i dont have good experience with Dell (using a 5 years old Inspiron laptop and gives me alot of headache) Can anyone confirm that Dell has improved its laptop quality recently. Coz from the spec sheet, 7447 is really tempting. *dillemma*

hahhaha.. so is it wrong to say that Dell purposely make low quality/lifespan laptops and focus more on customer + warranty to win customers?
Coz ya without a doubt customer service Dell is best la. Quality of Dell laptops i heard some mixed reviews though. 
ya thats exactly the reason I choose Asus K401lb. Dunno whether there are any users out thr to give me a review b4 buying. 
Haih, but Dell Inspiron 7447 swayed me abit with its GTX graphic card + decent price tag. 

totally agree, which is why i question the quality of Dell laptops due to my not so good experience with my previous laptop.

guys. im planning to get a laptop for business with sufficient battery life, yet 16GB ram.

im choosing between below:
Lenovo T450
Dell Latitude 12 E5250

any user's review or comment about those model? those models are so configurable i do not know what's the price and what's the spec to take yet. basic requirement is i5 th gen, 16gb ram, long battery life. anything else i guess i can sacrifice.

budget wise, i'm looking 3.7k to 4.5k...
