1. Preferred Brand - Dell, Asus, Lenovo.
2. Budget - RM 2000.00 - RM 3000.00
3. Usage- Multimedia, Programming, College Work, Photoshop.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15'6, prefer FHD.

I'm currently looking at Zenbook UX305 which fit my budget but the processing power of this laptop is too low, I'm worrying about that. Other than that, I'm looking at Dell Inspiron 15 5000 series, the specs is quite good but it doesn't have FHD screen and the battery life is quite bad.

1 - No preferred brand.
2 - Budget < 3k
3 - Gaming
4 - No preferred size.

Would like dedicated graphics, ram 8GB+, full HD, hybrid/SSD, in that order.

I always buy laptops in Penang. Most of them provide free 4gb ram upgrade. Not sure about KL hehe but still, if I am gonna be the one who choose, I will go for 7447. Haha I prefer Dell whistling.gif

Yeah the subwoofer just looks good with the design. Perfect! But there is one bad thing about this laptop. That is the Power LED status. We won't know when the laptop is in sleep or standby mode. Hence, it is pretty annoying with such a light indicator. Since there is only one LED indicator, they should have made an update on the indicator light. biggrin.gif

For instance,
Blink = sleep
Fully charged = light shown and no blinking
Charging = longer blinking

Hey guys, i need recommendations for a laptop.

1. Preferred Brand : Lenovo, but will accept other brands. Preferably not Dell...
2. Budget: 3.5k +-
3. Usage: General usage. Not much gaming.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15"+

Specific requests: Thin, Lightweight, hopefully ultra-book tier, with long lasting battery. Touchscreen not needed, but not necessarily avoided (i'll just not use it).
