I'm leaning towards the Dell Inspiron 7447 atm but I can't find much information about it on the internet It's weird, usually there are tons of reviews about laptops so it's making me doubting it.

Hello guys I did some research and now I don't know whether I should buy the Acer Aspire VN7-591G-744NK or Lenovo Y50 ? Can you guys help me choose?

1. Brand : Any

2. Budget : 3-4 k (I dont mind stretching in another 400-500 if theres another choice)

3. Usage : I would like to play The Sims 4 on my laptop and maybe some occasional GTA5, as I can only play GTA 5 during my semester break. I would also like to use my laptop for studies and lots of movies.

4. Screen size : I don't mind the weight but it must be thin and the screen is either 14" or 15"

Is my budget possible for my needs??

oh wow, I've loooked at the MSI PE60 and I'm kind of interested, is it on sale yet in Malaysia? Because I can't seem to find it on Lelong or Lazada.

If it doesn't sell well, doesn't it mean that it's not good?
What if Lenovo Y40 vs Inspiron 7447? Their pros and cons? Y50..is not suited for my budget right? What is its market price?

Not sure if dell has international warranty (will be in uk).

I checked hp omen, looks quite nice. Does it come with international   warranty? And whats the specs like ?

I also check the inspiron series, still unsure abt the quality and warranty. I saw the 17" one.

Yeah it's off my budget and I heard the service will take long time ?

Hi, from browsing here, many seems to recommend dell 7447, planning to get my bro a new laptop. He only plays dota2 alot all the time. Must last him at least 5yrs. Budget not much 3k max. But from what i source from Dell website y the price more pricy than some people say here?

Hey there sifus! I am planning to purchase a laptop during this summer break (June - August) but not sure when. I am bringing this laptop to the UK so warranty is an issue for me.

1. Brand : Any as long as it is has reliable warranty service

2. Budget : around RM4000

3. Usage : AAA title games that are coming out and other that had came out. PLC programming, C programming and Python programming. Finite element analysis and SolidWorks. Some lightroom and photoshop photo editing. Watching movies, youtube videos and listening to music.

4. Screen size : 15 inch would be perfect. Don't need 4k display, just need a good IPS panel.

5. Weight : I am concerned about weight since I need to bring this laptop around in the UK, so around 2.5kg would be nice.

6. Thermal Performance : Say No to thermal throttle!!

7. Hardware preference : SSD FTW! ~240GB would be just enough

P.S : If there is a laptop with gtx 970m with good thermal and not at a very high price (~RM5000), I don't mind spending more money on it.

Was looking at Illegear, tempted to purchase the Z5, but warranty is a huge issue 

I currently own a Asus Laptop, the warranty service in Malaysia is ridiculous but are their products currently reliable?

1. Preferred Brand: Any, I am open to Alienwares too!
2. Budget: Less than RM7k (it doesnt mean it has to be 7k, anything less even around 5k which you'd suggest is the best value/money combo is great)
3. Usage: Gaming, heavy multitasking - includes illustration but not rendering.
4. Preferred laptop/screen size: Preferably 15. 13 is bit small and 17 is just too big.

Pretty concerned with the laptop's build quality too, the more solid/sturdy the better.
4k display is a big bonus btw.

Does the HP Omen come with the gtx 960m in Malaysia? Want to have the latest GPU since I am going to own it for a long time (~4 years).

The ROG G751JT seems like a very good buy with gtx 970m at around RM5.5K but it is quite heavy thou, is there a forum link for the owner's club here? can't seem to find it 

Cannot find much review on the PE60 =( my friends are using MSI laptops and find not much issue with their laptop except that they need to change thermal compound after 1.5 years, so I guess no worries for warranty because their laptop manufacturing are quite high standards.

Isn't 8% huge difference in the long run? doesn't it run cooler since it has a new architecture? just wondering 

I have read some threads in other forum saying that after a few months, they experience some major lagging issues and USB hubs not working etc. and I read reviews on the UK Asus side, there were more than 50% negative reviews
